The last of a clan of woodland elves, Elleron is on his own and not dealing well with the isolation.
Wanna know more? You'll have to find out for yourself! This is my first forray into DnD, so not only feedback on the character but also on my play is welcome.

No roleplaying feedback (it's cool to see another feral elf), but I do have some comments on character write-up. First, and I feel incredibly lame for having even noticed this, but you're one skill point over. Other than that, it looks fine - though you might care to list languages, and I think alignments are supposed to be absent. Also, your choice of feats are interesting. Any particular reason for picking Combat Expertise and mounted Combat? I don't know if those are prereqs for anything, or if you just like 'em. I'd probably have done Weapon Finesse in your shoes, and maybe Two-Weapon Defense.

Fixed the skills thing with a reduction in knowledge.
One of the things I tried to do with this character was build it from scratch as if he was going through the life path of his clan. The feet choices were specific to that. The combat expertise was pickde because it leads to alot of non lethal options. The riding was something that I designed from looking at his clan.
Your point is well taken though and makes great sense. In fact, the very next feat choices are exactly what you suggested. At this point though, as I am not familiar with DnD I am undecided on the AC situation. I am used to d20 modern and star wars, where the defense bonuses from class stack rather quickly. To be honest, I am a dex guy, always have been because of the dual benefits for defense and ranged attacks. Though as I understand it, DnD is less ranged and much much more melee by nature, so this will be an interesting challenge for me, and probably a quick lesson in not relying on old standards from other games, whjether or not the systems are compatable.
Languages are already listed, and you are right about alignment.
Thank you for your input.

Whoops. I somehow missed the languages up there. No problem. I was analyzing merely from a technical standpoint, with no idea of actual characterization involved. Your style of building the character is rather nice - I admit I usually think 'What do I want this character to do?', and then think of how exactly to do that best. But that's 'cause I'm used to a tabletop group that does exactly that, so it's largely a means to keep up with the pack. Mounted Combat and Combat Expertise are perfectly good feats, and there's always the secret tweaks I don't know about. I just thought I'd put the other suggestions forward in case you hadn't thought of 'em. But you have, so there ya go.
