SEA GREEN
The council listens for any other business, but the companions are uncharacteristically silent—perhaps the dragon’s ill magic working on them. It is ultimately Gro-bug who thanks the council for their help and confirms that there’s nothing else to discuss. They nod somberly. “Then please, go gather what aid you need with our thanks.”
So dismissed, Madrigal is again at your sides, leading you from the audience chamber and out into the streets. He recommends a temple in particular, and with no obvious preference, the group proceeds there to be healed. The process takes a bit of time, and the clerics of Ehlonna you encounter are polite, but their resources clearly strained like everyone—still, the matter of life-draining isn’t common enough that they are unable to meet your request, and they soon produce scrolls to purge the foul energies of the Harbinger.
With this vital service performed, you find yourselves free to take one last tour of the streets and markets, to purchase what the Gathered Nations have to offer. Madrigal is able to show Ella several reputable breeders with mounts meant for Halflings and gnomish warriors, hardy dogs and trained wolves, stout boars, and even several great cats. [Tell me what you want and I’ll figure out a cost.]
Sean, too, takes an interest in the markets, discovering a few magic items of interest to him. Having been lugging around a great quantity of gold for some time, it may be a good opportunity to offload much of it for something more useful to their struggle.
When all matters are attended to, Madrigal is ready to bid you farewell. “I know your quest takes you off again, but know you are always welcome here. Good luck.”
Outside the city, Antyca is ready for Ella’s usual call, and will no doubt momentarily frighten whatever mount the Halfling has procured, but the creature is well-trained, and soon settles down. Scaland awaits, many miles north and west… but will you devise some scheme before departing, or return to Ella’s original plan of skimming over the island and peering down with a spyglass?

Gildas-
The clerk breathes a sigh of relief. Finally, a question she can answer. “Yes, all artifacts are kept by the Relics Department, which runs the museum.” She produces a neatly-folded map of the university grounds, splaying it out and pointing out the complex in question—a couple of detached museums and a research facility, it seems. “Several of them are even on public display,” she quickly adds, trying a very, very strained smile. “Good luck with your search, sir.” Gildas gets the strange impression that she could probably care less about whether he has any luck, so long as he doesn’t talk to her again. Ever.
Lockheart speaks up as the two take their leave of the bureaucratic hellhole. “You don’t expect them to just have the artifact lying around on display, do you?”
Whatever the answer, Lockheart accompanies Gildas across the campus to the buildings indicated by the clerk. All match the usual style of the university, with pale white stones and copper roofs and trimmings. One of the museums is open-walled, with dozens of pristine columns, but it looks a good deal older than the other buildings. Another museum seems more-frequently travelled, with two big copper double-doors open wide and welcoming, and much traffic moving in and out—clearly this is the more contemporary wing. Attached to this one by a raised bridge-like walkway is another building, the research facility, with almost no windows and no visible door, except through the upper level of the museum itself. Surely access here is extremely restricted.
Lockheart looks around with a grunt. “Well then, where to first?”
Lenny, Wystfalrun, Norven-
Lenny considers how to track a person like the curator—if going by Hallen’s advice and trying to catch him between places, no doubt an assistant or secretary of some sort would know where to find him in transit, and certainly with the titanic bureaucracy Hallen hints about, such people are about. A strange concept for a Tertian, certainly, but Lenny has ever been one to catch on to the differing ways of other people. Asking the right questions in a polite tone to the right people can get a great deal done, as evidenced by Hallen himself.
The dwarf is able to point out where such an infrastructure would exist, in a neighboring building—also a museum, but a far more recent structure, with a more general aim. He confirms that many museum staff work there, and could probably give information on the curator.
While considering this notion, Tyrano thinks on the museum’s craftsmanship itself, pondering about the innumerable copper bones all over the place. Hiding a valuable artifact in plain sight is an interesting notion, but given the nature of the bones, problematic. Surely there would be some evidence.
“This structure?” Hallen asks. “I doubt such plans exist. It’s almost as old as the war itself! Any records on the structure likely died with Old Ravenshead. But if anything existed, it’d be privy to the curator, somewhere in whatever archives they store that stuff in. But I doubt anything of that kind has survived.”
Unable to provide much more, Hallen clears his throat. “Now, I hate to run out on you gentlemen, but there are things I need to be about. Studies and papers and such. I wish you luck with your search. If you want to know anything else about Garor, you can find me over at the Brotter Dormitory—they’ll have me in the registry there.” He dips his head, and unless there are further questions, departs.
Leaving the ancient museum, the pair—Norven in tow—immediately spy the other buildings he spoke of: a newer museum without quite so many columns, its interior hidden behind walls, but no less grand; and a building attached via raised walkway to that one. Ambling around outside of these buildings, also looking them over, the pair spy Gildas and Lockheart, apparently finished speaking at the Administrative Building.

Gildas-
"Alright, I get it. Just tell me, if you're not completely useless, where would I have the best chance of finding ancient artifacts. The museum perhaps?"
The clerk breathes a sigh of relief. "Where might we locate something on the plans for this structure and all it's art. If there were, perhaps a region that were reserved for a certain particular craftsman, or perhaps any of the statuary donated, or even repaired during the time that this Garor Skullsplitter lived, in what facility would we find that information. Also criticism of the statuary. Do you know of one that is particularly scorned?."
“This structure?” Hallen asks. “I doubt such plans exist. It’s almost as old as the war itself! Any records on the structure likely died with Old Ravenshead.
