Onyx glares at Ana, clearly impatient and frustrated.
He snorts at the idea of releasing all of the prisoners.
Clearly it didn't go over so well.
Onyx addresses his orcs.
(IN ORCISH) "Take the bag from her. We are wasting time."
Ana notes two of the orcs nodding and preparing to advance upon her.
By now the five other orcs have made it back to the cart.
(initiatives and/or actions anyone?)
Ana is 15 feet from Onyx and his crew
Mercy and Shadow are aprox. 15 feet behind Ana
Garor and Askr are off to the side somewhere trying to remain out of sight (was never specified, but likely not within charge range of the orcs)
Need status on Noic's whereabouts.m
Some of the points where shooters are located are certainly in range, the lookout tower mostly,

As it becomes apparent that Ana's gambit has failed, Garor frowns. This has failed. It's time to fight- but let's go for something surprising. He murmurs a spell, calling upon nature to bring them an ally. A wolf emerges suddenly from a clump of bushes, lunging for the orc with the huge axe! (Sacrificing one casting of Sillegelah for Summon Nature’s Ally I. Summoning a wolf, which is in charge range if we're within 135 feet. It does indeed charge Onyx. Attack: [dice=20]+5 Damage: [dice=8]+1 Trip attempt: [dice=20]+1)[rand=3567954498353736195935416265365744601116645697735966071811387856]

Either way [whether Mercy joins them or not], Ana will setup the meeting for herself, Garor, and Askr in front. The latter equipped with a longspear. While Anaqualia can hardly hide the spear or her own hand-and-a-half sword, she will do her best to appear non-confrontational when they appear. She will carry a bag, as if she is assigned to give them the demanded money. (OOC) Garor and Askr should be with Mercy at this point, since Ana went ahead alone. [] Added for clarity. Ana draws back as the orcs approach - she isn't sure what they said, though she glances at Askr for a little quick input, or to urge him to say or do something, perhaps. (He is within range of a Charm Person, after all. Barely.) Her hand strays towards her sword, but she does not draw it. "You're making a mistake, Onyx. Reconsider." Of course, her last attempts at diplomacy will be cut short when the wolf appears, or when Onyx recognizes spellcasting. Assumedly, the fight will begin in earnest at that point. (I'll wait to see what Initiatives look like before figuring out a combat action.)

Well, the time had come. It was now our never. Things were going down, especially considering Garor was now casting a spell. Seeing Ana looking back at him, he decides to act. Just as Garor, Askr starts to cast.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
(OOC) - Askr casts Charm Person. If Onyx fails the save then Askr will:
Having no clue what Garor is casting, he yells out as his spell finishes. "Got em, don't attack Onyx." Turning towards Onyx, Askr will speak, "Onyx, stop those Orcs. They're going against your rule and are trying to take the money for themselves. Trust me old friend!"
If you need an opposed Charisma check for that:
+4 [dice=20] Woot, 23!
-----------------------------------------------------------------
If he succeeds on the saving throw then Askr will yell out
"It failed, get em Garor!"[rand=9251232907389728279500132043883733276270373921446815526092748896]

(...I started the casting on the assumption that Garor was under cover, and thus that it was not detectable. But whatever...?)

(OOC) - I just assumed we could hear you casting the spell, even if you are hidden. As far as I am aware you can't simply mumble a spell. According to pg 174 "you must be able to speak in a strong voice." I always took that as you had to said it loudly, not yelling but still loudly. If you are within 135 feet (according to the post about charging) then the DC to hear you would be 13 (10 feet = +1 DC from a DC 0 for people talking). So assuming I took ten with my character that'd at least give me a 14. Not sure about the other people. Just making rash assumptions so as to justify myself

(Oops, I seem to have written that the orcs have morningstars for some reason. Scratch that, they have falchions, always did. Not sure what I was thinking.) As for inits, sorry 'bout that, thought you guys would roll them. don't have any real dice on hand, so here goes. Ana [dice=20]+1 Askr [dice=20]+1 Garor [dice=20]+2 Orcs 1-4 [dice=20]+0 Onyx [dice=20]+1 Results = (Orcs 1-4, Ana, Askr, Onyx, Garor) (Well, since it worked out this way) ------------------------- The two orcs advance upon Ana. One reaches out to swipe the bag which she holds. Orc 1=Attkr[dice=20]+4attk,-4unarmed,+4item security=22 Ana=dfndr[dice=20]+6attk,-4light/no weapon=20 Ana puts up quite the fight, but the orc manages to rip the bag away from her, a satisfied expression upon his face. The other takes the bag from his companion and unstrings it to have a look inside. He looks up, surprised at what he sees. (in assumption that there's no gold, or at least not enough gold to satisfy, as i am not sure what was actually put into the bag.) "HEY, this not even gold in here,!" he calls out. (init, Orcs1-4, Ana, Askr, Onyx, Garor) orcs 3+4 await Onyx's command so they are holding steady. Ana scowls at the orc but says nothing yet, glancing back at Askr. (As previously mentioned) She hopes he can seize on this moment of confusion. (Delay until Askr casts his spell, her action dependent on the outcome.)

(Just making sure previous actions still stand. And if so, what will Askr attempt to say to Onyx? Also, not that I need to remind, but the Summoning takes a full round.)

(OOC) I also forgot to specify - The bag is indeed not filled with gold - just random scrap metal or something else that would clang appropriately when shook.
