NOIC
Noic heads out to the stables where he sees the stableboy handfeeding one of the horses a carrot.
He notices Noic's approach.
"Hey, where's the rest of your group. You should really be on your way. The horses are ready for the walk."
It is clear that the group will not be coming outside just yet. Noic begins speaking to the boy as he helps clean up after the animals.
"You know, I can fight a little, but I'm really good with the horses, so Uncle Jasper has me work out here in the stables. I get along with most animals I guess."
He brushes down one of the horses.
He then turns back to Noic, speaking in a hushed and serious tone.
"You know I think I could kill an orc if I had to. Problem is, I ain't got no one else to fight on my side like you got. There ain't ever only gonna be just one orc."
The boy seems angry about this predicament.

EVERYONE ELSE
The students struggle to find a way to tackle this mysterious disappearance of Edrianna's ring.
Jade and Marlowe could both be responsible in some way, but how to prove it, or even just figure out what is going on poses the dilemma.
Ana asks Askr what he might be able to do while Garor poses a question to Edrianna.
She thinks for a moment.
"Well Jade may have noticed, I'm not sure. But yes, you all and Marlowe. Hmmm. Well, last night when Ana and I came in to reserve rooms the stableboy, he noticed. He said it was pretty. I'm not certain of who else would have noticed. Anyone here last night I suppose."
(Ana remembers the stableboy complimenting Edrianna's ring. The innkeeper was sitting nearby at his desk and would have likely taken notice of the piece of jeelry as well.)
Marlowe and Jade have been whispering to one another in a nearby room while the group has their own discussion.
But suddenly Jade's voice comes loud and pleading.
"Marlowe, please. Just take me with you. I promise, I'll tell you on the way. Just not here...not now."
Looking into the room, Jade can be seen practically on her knees, tugging at the half elf's shirt sleeves.
