Taking charge, Ana establishes the watches and all aid in the camp preparations.
The night goes by without disturbances, though on his watch, Askr is woken up from time to time by Shadow the dog, who eventually decides to leave the man alone and take up the watching for the both of them.
The next day's travel goes smoothly, as do the two days which follow. Occassionally the group stops in a town which they are passing through to resupply, tend to the animals, and gather information about the best paths to take toward Bridgeport these days, but in general, progress is good.
Though the sky is still bleak and dreary. Not much sun has managed to shine through, and rain does fall from time to time, but nothing the group can't handle.
Along the way, Edrianna speaks with Ana and Askr, attempting to find out a little bit about each. Though she is obviously having some difficulty keeping up with Askr and his hearty appetite for talk and drink.
Garor keeps away from the jeweler who deals in metal and keeps his eyes to the trail.
Noic finds plenty of time to throw his thoughts in where he feels that they are needed.
Ana's attempts to speak with Marlowe do not go very well as she could have imagined. When she approaches, he sits quietly, ignoring her presence altogether.
On the third day of travel, Ana does note that like Noic and Askr, Marlowe too has a liking for liquor as she spots him drinking deeply from a flask which he quickly attempts to hide when he realizes that she has seen him. He finally speaks to her for the first time. His words are cold as he peers through reddened green eyes at female fighter.
"You carry a sword as if you were a man, but you are no different. Walking the world as if you are all goddesses, put here for men to praise and adore. You expect us to give you everything, jewels, wealth, everything, and when we do it is still not enough. You tread upon one man and move on to break the next. Treacherous whores."
Marlowe brings his bottle back to his lips and returns to his business without another word.

Camp is made that night and Marlowe and Edrianna head into the carriage where it sounds as though harsh words are being exchanged. They attempt to speak softly, and communicate in Elven. Without directly going out of one's way to move in to listen, the words are for the most part too muffled to make out.
Again watches go by without event until Askr and Shadow's watch.
The dog begins to bark frantically, waking all in the camp.
All hear shouting in the distance, and as it gets closer, all are able to make out the source of the shouting.
About a dozen or so orange skinned creatures come racing into view. They scream and shout at the top of their lungs and wave weapons about as if they are insane.
Goblins
Charging straight at the camp.
