Together the intrepid young warriors move into the darkened opening, but after walking on a few yards, they find their path blocked by yet another stone wallPerhaps this is no entrance at all, just an unfinished attempt at carving into the large wall.
However, upon closer inspection, it appears to be a door. Though there are no signs of any opening mechanism or pull ring to budge it.
A series of bas-reliefs are noticeable upon the stone walls surrounging the group.
Upon the stone door is carved a morbid scene, it depicts a hooded and cloaked man administering a potion to an enshrouded skeletal corpse which lies upon a bier. Behind them, an open sarcophagus awaits. Upon the left hand wall is carved a tall life sized figure in along hooded robe. Though his countenance is grim, he strongly resembles the man depicted on the central wall (door). Finally, a life sized skeleton wrapped in a death shroud is carved into the right hand wall. The grooves in the relief are deep, giving the impression that it is about to step out of the wall. Though its arms are folded across its chest, the skeleton's jaw hangs wide open as if it were screaming.

(You are in an alcove of sorts, surrounded by walls on all three sides. The central wall appears to be a door but there is no way in sight to open it. )

Noticing a faint aura permeating the area Crege tries to discern what it is [dice=20] +4 spellcraft check He then walks up to the door and cast baleful utterance on it.[rand=15900395927240385279139005814800260224333134209064231116831667133]

Alric eyes scene. The two figures stood to the sides, the open sarcophagus a door, but the potion was missing. He had heard of such tests in the stories of his tribe. Perhaps the robed figure held the final piece of the puzzle, or perhaps those who passed through brought such with them. His companion seemed to have little regard for such a challenge however. So be it. Search/spot as appropriate if some part of the hooded figure is hidden or seems not quite connected - something of suitable size to jam into the skeleton's mouth [dice=20]+1 [rand=81461636856732098212609363273753975446734067661116341394408535525]

Crege takes a moment to focus in on the faint aura, but he is unable to determine what sort of magic it might be.
In the meantime Alric searches the stone door and walls for potential clues.
Upon close inspection, he can find nothing strange about the stone wall bearing the image of the life sized robed man. No hidden compartments or loose pieces.
He does come to the realization that the central wall (door) bearing the image of the robed man pouring the potion into the skeleton's mouth with the sarcophagus waiting in the background to be a fake. This is not a door at all. Perhaps something false to throw adventurers in search of four armed demons off of the trail.

Sam sits watching the picture, no idea on what to do with it. Instead he just waits...

"Perhaps we have to pour a potion in the skeleton's mouth? You know...perhaps copy the picture to get the opening...."
Halefax muses on this. It was a bit silly but then again dungeons tended to work in a similar manner.

"Perhaps we have to pour a potion in the skeleton's mouth? You know...perhaps copy the picture to get the opening...." Alric grunts and nods. "Let us not waste things of value on such things" He pulls a wineskin from his belt and pours a little water into the mouth. Perhaps it was a trap, but such concerned him little beneath his heavy armour. That a door would be sealed as such though. Storys spoke of mad wizards and spirits testing the mettle of those who entered their domain, but not of lizards.

Ism also takes a good look at the picture. Maybe the others were right and it was a pictorial instruction on how to activate something.
Ism is studying the picture to see what specifically they are doing in the picture. Was it some sort of necromantic act? Ism hated undead. He is trying to workout what is taking place, if it is a specific event/ritual. If he recognizes the actual people taking part, weither they are of a specific religion.

Crege gets frustrated with the puzzle "Y'all can mess with this picture all day, I'm gonna go try to find another way in" Crege stomps off along the wall searching for another potential entrance.
