Alric moves foward to attack the fire breathing thing.
(Not exactly sure about climbing and sharing squares, doesn't seem "rules" possible but I'm giving it to you, the creature gaining cover of course.)
His blade just barely connects with the creature, but a hit is a hit all the same.

The creature yips out in pain, a cry not too much unlike those of the kobolds that dwell within these halls. But it does not fall just yet.
Halefax is ready to attack the fire breathing creature as well, but right now he has no clear shot at it with Alric in the way.
Crege moves to the baricade and begins to climb.

He manages to get himself upon the barricade and finds himself face to face with a sling wielding kobold
Ism pulls himself the rest of the way until he is on top of the barrier. Crouching there beside Crege, he takes a shot at the kobold standing upon its ladder but the shot misses. This is a very awkward place to be fighting.
Sam moves in to attack the fire breather

His bite rips the creature, rendering it lifeless.
Alric and Sam watch as the strange fire creature seems to transform right before their eyes, the wispy smoke and flames, the fire orbs for eyes, all washing away to reveal a plain old dead kobold.
The kobold furthest from Crege takes a shot at the warlock with its sling

The bullet finds its mark

Crege feels the sting as his flesh is broken (3 dmg)
The kobold nearest to Ism and Crege drops its sling, opting to draw a small dagger from its belt. It jabs the blade at Ism

but Ism deftly avoids being stabbed
Ism and Crege can see the last kobold, still behind the wall with the unconscious one. This kobold moves to the far end of the room and suddenly, Ism and Crege behold the sight as the kobold transforms before their eyes into another one of those strange looking fire breathing creatures.
Alric takes up a stance near the small passage, ready to take on anything which comes his way.
Tork thinks it best to climb onto the barrier as well, so he moves to the best spot for leverage and begins to pull himself up. Once he is on top of the barrier, he can see the other side of the room, the same size as the portion which he was standing in. There is the unconscious kobold down below, and about 25 feet away stands yet another of the fire breathers.
