Pandoro's mind tricks do little to sway the intent of the foe standing before him, especially when he only managed to do 60 samage out of a possible 300
Proud of his recent kill, Corvus heads back to see how his comrades are faring.
Fed up with his crossbow, Sar unsheathes his shortsword and prepares to enter into melee combat if it is absolutely positively necessary.
Rillem finds himself in quite the predicament, a rogue fighting against an unsneakattackable opponent.
This does not stop the brave halfling from trying. He takes a swipe with his dagger.
And for the first time he is thankful that this is most likely an undead creature.
The 1 damage which manages to get through hones in on the single thread which holds this creature together and severs it completely.
The thing's vile existence is brought to an end.
But just to make sure, Balen rushes it down anyway.
Pandoro regains his mobility, each muscle tingles with the sensation of life.
All is still quiet on the western front, but the mid south portion of the room is doing alright too. All of the enemies have been dispatched.
The room is now a bit more worse for the wear, but it's likely no one will notice with all of the other debris lying around.
There are no obvious doors in this room, but that's not too surprising considering the door by which the group entered was nicely hidden from view.

(your kidding me? that one damage killed it? lol thats too good!) "Sheesh Pandoro, this isn't going to work out, I am not going to fight all your battles for you. Sometime you might actually have to try and do something." Rillem is jokeing with Mr. Muscular, as he retrieves his thrown dagger.

Rather suspicious of the thing's sudden demise, Sar kneels down to give it a good thorough stabbing- just on the off-chance it's playing possum on us. He then examines the room for secret doors, goodies, or additional undead horrors. Spot: [dice=20]+6 Search: [dice=20]+6[rand=382380333755289636513845875947637341206950658282438751624768383693]

yeah, between Rillem and Pandoro, it was reduced to 1 hp, and Seeing as how undead are automatically killed when they are reduced to 0 or fewer hp, the 1 damage was enough to do it.
----- ----- -----
All of the weird undeadly creatures are now dead, there are no doubts about that.
Between Corvus, Paul and the rest searching the place out, two hidden doors are revealed.
They are both tucked away behind the broken sarcophagi against the walls
One is to the southeast, and the other, the northwest.
Do our brave adventurers explore further, or do they call it a day and head home?

"Onward and outward! Let's try this door." Sar pushes the more northwesterly door open.

"Keep your eyes sharp, everyone!"
Balen lets Sar open the door, and follows into the darkness.

"Ok." Pandoro still looks shaken, "The horror... the horror..."
Then remembering he had to go, Pandoro finds a nice dark corner of the room and relieves himself.

"One door's as good as another." Corvus follows the others over to the northern door, longsword in one hand, torch in the other. "Hey, do we have any more potions or Kord-power? I might need some healing soon."

Rillem, once more armed with dual daggers, nods toward the northern door. "My uncle always said 'When your right, your never wrong!' Well this isn't the right door, but its close enough."

Pandoro is a little wary of Corvus after the way the elf was oggling him. The last thing Pandoro wants to do is touch him, but Corvus looks pretty beat so the devout servant of Kord utters his shortest prayer in years.
"O great Kord, thanks for freeing me up, all sorts of wrongness was going on. Thanks, gotta go."

Happy to be healed, Corvus pats Pandoro on his considerably muscled arm, unconsciously squeezing just a little. "Thanks, Pandoro. Does your magic always leave that tingly feeling?"
[*Resists the urge to do the 'But I'm also hurt here' line.*]
