Hearing the noises ahead, Corvus wastes no time as he puches past his friends and effortlessly hacks a kobold in half.
Poor thing didn't even get a chance to scream.
Though upon seeing the sight, the rest begin to howl like lunatics.
One of them takes a step foward and draws something from it's pack and heaves it at Sar
Ranged touch to hit AC 12
[dice=20]+3=hit
Sar ref save
[dice=20]=success
Sar is struck with a bag of sticky goo. Fortunately, he is not stuck in place, but the scout finds it near impossible to function, the sticky substance severely hampering his mobility.
(Entangled, move at half speed, -2 to attacks, -4 to dex for)
[dice=4][dice=4]5 rounds
Or until 15 points of damage is delivered to the goo with a slashing weapon
The second kobold takes a snipe at this seemingly helpless new target
attk at Sar to hit new AC 12
[dice=20]+3
But the slingshot misses and the bolt bounces across the floor.
Pandoro steps up to see his competition. Kobolds. He sends a spear flying at the kobold in front of him. Unfortunately, he flicked the shortspear as if it were an actual toothpick and it fails to connect as it simply falls at the small creature's feet.
The last remaining kobold to the east near Corvus withdraws away from the lethal warrior, heading down a narrow and darkened set of jagged steps which descends into the deep gorge.
Strom rushes forward with his glaive, but in his overexcitement at startling the kobolds, fails to connect with his mark.
Despite Sar's practically immobilized state, he lifts his bow and takes a few steps backwards, making sure to cover enough ground to confuse his mark and sink in the shot. His bolt connects and the kobold before Strom is downed.
Balen finally decides to jump into the mix, dashing into the chamber and heading for the last kobold in sight.
His quick strides manage to get him toe to toe with the reptile, and with a mighty swing of his axe, another kobold falls dead to the adventuring party.

(keep in mind walls and line of sight issues. I'm not going to make a fancy map, so if you are unsure, just ask. The ones in the corridor can't see the kobolds just yet but they know they are there )

No Kobolds remain, though one has managed to get away down the stairs at the far east of the room.
Out of the torchlight, Strom can surmise that the stairs lead straight to the bottom of the cliff and then back up to the other side.
They look to be the only way to cross.
And then there are still those strange winged contraptions which none of the adventurers could ever dream to fit into. They were definateely made to fit the forms of the kobolds and other smaller creatures and not a party such as this, with such muscularly impressive physiques.
And then there is Sar, moving slowly and covered in a sticky, slimy goo.
