The rules set is taken from the west end games books.

first thing you want to decide is race. human,near-human, alien ,and finally droids
humans get 18 die to spread among six attributes str,dex,knowlage,perception,mechanical,and technical. humans max out at  4D unless you get cybernetics to increase the attribute.

It's all decided with D6 so you will say shoot a blaster and say you have 3D6 in blasters on here it would work slightly differently than at the table in person because the wild die aspect. so you would roll 2D6 then type WD and roll another D6 .if you get six you roll another WD until you get less than 6 on the last die. also if you Get a 1 on that WD you lose the highest numbered die and the 1 on the WD

3+3+ WD 6 =12 but you would roll the 6 again until you dont get anymore 6's 4=16 compare total to target number for your blaster shot.
