I forget the things that exasperate,
As I no longer my emotions fight,

So long have they been hidden,
Behind masks and lies,
They start to come to me unbidden,
And they reflect in my eyes,

All the sorrow that I have known,
All the anger hidden deep,
And all the things that I should have shown,
And I start to weep,

Tears of cleansing,
Tears of abreaction,
These tears something inside me releasing,
And these things invigorate,

I am reborn.

not a word i've come across.

It's the same as Catharsis, or a release of emotional tension
