Paizo Publishing (the people who put out Dungeon and Dragon magazine) are resurrecting Amazing Stories! They are accepting unsolicited sci-fi and fantasy short stories, but warn that competition will be fierce. For more info, go here!

Also, for those of you that don't know, Wizards of the Coast is looking for someone to write the new Eberron novel!

*Waves smoke away from ears for a moment*
Thanks Medesha, this is great news. I'm working on an Eberron submission now and I hope to have the sample up before I send it off as I value everyone's criticism here.
*Back to typing furiously*

First off, Zarni...where in the hell have you been mate? And secondly, yes...I think you should submit away man. You've got some great pieces up here. I'm not sure about Lenin's bees, it may not 'bee' what Amazing Stories is looking for since they deal more in fantastical or supernatural fiction, and that's a more thought provoking story than anything. Either way, I think you should find some place to submit it to. I think your one story, forgive me, I can't remember the name but the one with the little boy and Gabriel being a leprechaun sized-man...that one might fit. Like I said, either way, I want to see some submissions out of you.

I attended the "Writing for Dungeon" and "Writing for Dragon" seminars at GenCon this year. Both were very informative, and both magazines have a great need of new articles. They say it's never been easier to get in. Their submission guidelines are at www.paizo.com .

Wizards of the Coast is hosting an open call for fiction. Horror, sci-fi and fantasy all qualify, and it does not have to be a D&D book.
