Hero and Garor - Searching around the exit and entry point, you find a few small tracks. A booted humanoid foot, probably a young teen if not younger.
Defenitely an amateur...
Satisified you have search Master Theld's property thoroughly, you move onto the Magmire estate. It is a huge mansion, resting atop a hill overlooking much of Morten and the lands around. It is an imposing, multi-level stone structure with little or no windows. There is a large stone wall that surrounds the property, topped with wicked spines of iron.
There is a single gate, the threshold to a path and a large double door for entry. The doors themselves are also iron, well over seven feet in height. Odd for a dwarven household. Undaunted, you knock and listen to the metal reverberate throughout the mansion.
Minutes later, a young elven girl peers through a slightly cracked door. She is small framed and shy, barely looking you both in the eyes. She speaks softly.
"May I help you?"

Newt and Angelus - {Just cause you're a rogue doesn't mean you can always 'take' a 20... Also, it's survival for tracking, search would just find the tracks.}
Searching around the exit and entry point, you find a few small tracks. A booted humanoid foot, probably a young teen if not younger. You cannot tell if they are female or male footprints as they are light and the ground did not hold the prints well.
Moving into town, you make your way towards the two inns, The Dirty Miner and the Gold Vein Inn. You pause over which to enter first.

Caelith and Callian - Finding the nearest guard, you summon Camir, lead guard of Morten. He approaches, seemingly busy with his everyday duties but responsible enough to pay attention to the ambassadors. You tell him to lookout for a small servant with an injured hand. He nods.
"I have been so busy ambassadors I must have overlooked such obvious clues. I assure you, I will keep my eyes open."
Upon mentioning where you are headed, Camir nods again.
"Both inns employ many youths. They have to...any able bodied youth are drafted into the service of Sturmguard."
"Best of luck Ambassadors."
Camir excuses himself and goes back to his duties. You return and meet the others in the streets, debating which inn to investigate first.

Krysta, Girud and Galdren - Krysta drops her bow and draws her blade, readying for battle. She charges across the glade and leaps into the center of the fray, ready to chop any orc that moves. {Attack Roll = 30, Damage Roll = 12} An orc crumples beneath her blade. She stands in the center of the group, ready to strike more.
{3 Orcs Dead, 2 Severly wounded.}
Galdren acts next, twirling his blades around like the expert swordsman he is. {Attack Roll 1 = 8, Attack Roll 2 = 15, Damage Roll = 9, Cleave Attack Roll = 11} His second attack strikes a seperate orc, driving the blade into the spine. The orc goes limp and collapses. Galdren carries his attack through, but misses a quickly moving orc.
{4 Orcs Dead, 2 Severly wounded.}
Mordrock, screaming as though his very voice would pierce the night, pounces on another goblin before it can move. {Attack vs. Prone orc = 19, Damage Roll = 5 + 2 Sneak attack} Mordrock's blade drives deep, killing another of the barely rousing orcs.
{5 Orcs Dead, 2 Severly wounded.}
Girud moves forward and brings his foot down, rippling the ground like a wave before him. {Stomp, 5 REF Saves for goblins. 1 success. 3, 2, 2, 4 damage.} All but one goblin falls to the ground as Girud finishes closing the distance to threaten.
The last sleeping orc near Mordrock rouses and tries to stand to his feet. Mordorck, seeing the opportunity stabs with his rusty blade. {AoO = 5} The goblin misses the orc drastically and the monster stands over him, pulling a blade from his scabbard.
You can all hear Mordrock audibly squeak at the threat.
The goblins near Girud stand, and he takes a moment to attack. {AoO's = 23, 18, Damage Rolls = 14, 21} Two goblins are sliced cleanly in two, as Girud moves his blade through one towards another. {Cleave = 13, crit' failure roll, failure.} Girud, as he moves his blade through the two goblins passes over the fire. The flames lick his hand and he accidenly drops his blade, scattering it further into the glade.
{2 Goblins Dead, 5 Orcs Dead, 2 Severly wounded.}
{Girud, You will need to retrieve your weapon.}
The wrestling orcs stand up and draw their weapons, readying for Battle. {Krysta AoO = 17, Damage Roll = 13} Yet another orc falls beneath her blade as they fight to stand and draw their weapons.
{2 Goblins Dead, 6 Orcs Dead, 2 Severly wounded.}
All of the orcs and goblins are now upright and armed...ready to fight.
