Hero, Garor and Callian - Hero steps up and pulls the large candleholder from the floor, flipping it onto its side and jamming it in the handles of the door. It works, the doors are effectively held shut for the time being.
[Door DC to break open now increased to 28, up by 4]
Magmire struggles, his will battling with the magic holding him still. [Will Save, Magmire, Fail] He is kept in check by the magic, Garor proving spells can be effective.
Garor steps up, bringing his mace around for a knockout strike. [I think Magmire is helpless, although spell just says paralyzed. Still can't act, even speech. Coup De Grace, Garor, Damage Roll = 21] A thin line of blood drips from Magmire's skull, but he is unable to react to the pain. Also, you cannot tell if he is out because he still cannot act.
Traylara continues to scream, and takes off down the hallway towards the inner portion of the house. It appears that he master falling so easily is too much for the young girl to take.
Callian - [Still focusing, better respond...]
The watch, now at the doors, attempts to fully open them. [One Guard, Break Check = 18] The doors hold fast, thanks mostly to the candleholder. You can hear some murmuring outside and assume that they are gathering, preparing to open the door with force...
{Iniative: Hero, Magmire [still gets to save], Garor, Callian, the watch.}
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Newt - From the SRD:
{So I see a Tumble Check at DC 21, or a withdraw move backwards. I think you'd rather take the withdraw move.}
Deciding that this is a time for action, you withdraw from the force before you, moving as far back as you can from them. [Draw Sword.]
The watch advances upon you, but in their heavy armor, they are too slow and cannot advance enough to catch you. [60 ft. vs. 40 ft.] However, they are intent on keeping you from the estate while their companions are focusing on breaking in the door...
{Initiative: Newt, the Guards.}
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Angelus - Trotting around some buildings with Camir, you see the young captain straining to find a single member of his watch. He cannot, and it is when you round the final building to the estate that you hear him gasp.
Newt is being chased by four of the guards, their weapons drawn with the intent to use them, another eight are battering the door to Magmire's with their shoulders, intent on gaining entry.
Camir seems stunned...and confused.
"What in the nine hells...."
You had better act quickly, or this could go from bad to worse...
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Caelith - Maura gives little resistance as she's tugged along. She answers your questions, knowing that she is being pulled towards the inevitable.
"I don't know why Magmire organized this theft...I only know that he hates Theld, something of an old mining rivalry. He asked me and Traylara to do it so that he couldn't be blamed..."
The girl chokes as she goes on, slowing her pace as though ashamed of her next words.
"He keeps us girls because...he sells us....for the night anyway, to those that would pay him. Mining wasn't profitable enough and when some of us orphans came to town, he was made an offer...for one of them, a girl name Kara. She's gone now, the man that bought her moved on to somewhere else."
"However, Magmire's eyes lit up with greed. He now keeps us instead of outright selling us. He feeds us well and gives us lavish things, but we must offer ourselves to his customers. Most of our customers are the watch themselves..."
As though on cue like a talented performer, you round the corner, nearly running into Angelus and Camir, seeing the chaos before you. Newt is chased by guards, others are trying to break down the doors to the estate. Through a window inside, you can see Hero, Callian and Garor, moving around a fourth figure...
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Krysta, Girud and Galdren -
{Holy Crap...I'm fired. I'm sorry, got a little wrapped up in quickly posting yesterday.}
Galdren - Now that Irinys and his clerics have rested, they offer their services to you. [Full heal, if you want it. Otherwise, HD + CON bonus for sleeping]
Krysta - During the night, the pyre for the unknown paladin reaches high into the sky, a blazing effigy to untold deeds and unsung heroes. You rest well knowing he will not return as an abomination under the control of the master.
Girud - Your skinning goes well, and by dawn you have a decent reptilian hide and a skull to match.
Krysta, Girud and Galdren - Irinys speaks as he orders his men to ready the boats. The refugees are placed aboard and the crystal is ensured that the straps will hold. The elven prince looks down the river, placing a lithe hand to his eyebrow.
"We seem to have luckily stumbled upon a small tributary system that I did not know about. If I'm guessing correctly, early last night we passed The Glade and we're near Plainsfork. By mid-morning, if the currents are swift, we should find the SilverTongue river that will spill into the delta near our island."
"Not much farther now Krysta, a little more than a day and we should be bathing in the amber glow of Ephemiryl's crystal towers."
The elf studies the symbol on the blade and armor.
"I have seen this symbol but once in my life, recently, before we left for this piece of crystal."
"An entourage of human knights washed ashore, their ship badly beaten. They all bore this mark and proclaimed themselves to be part of an ancient sect of knights called 'The Knights of The Purest-Star'. I did not ask much beyond that as the knights were all good, and have done much for the city since their arrival. More of these knights are in Ephemiryl, I'm sure you can glean more from them when we reach the shores."
Irinys turns to address everyone.
"If there is nothing further, are we ready to set sail?...so to speak."
Irinys smirks at the pathetically small boats, lacking any sails...
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sehanine, Yuri and Romar - [Hide Checks, Romar and Sehanine] Moving silently, you both manage to get low and stay quiet, disturbing little in your descent. Also, you seem to be well hidden, small gaps in the broken armor and refuse providing ample view of the scene before you.
Yuri melts, his form changing...shriveling and becoming black...into a bat, flits to the ceiling just as quietly.
As you all watch, breath held and weapons ready, two figures come into view. They are Drow, clad in the typical dark armor and weaponry of the dark elves. They have stark white hair, pulled tightly into a top knot behind their head.
However, something is strange about these Drow...
In the center of their forehead rest a gem, purple in hue that almost blend into their skin flawlessly. It sparkles slightly, gathering and playing with light from somewhere...or perhaps from within the gem itself.
[Spot Check, The Drow]
You have little time to think as the Drow move past your hallway without casting a second glance. They appear to have not noticed your small group and they walk down the hall, oddly enough, headed towards the very stores you must reach...
You sigh, knowing that you're safe again, for the moment.

Newt - From the SRD:
DC - 15 = Tumble at one-half speed as part of normal movement, provoking no attacks of opportunity while doing so. Failure means you provoke attacks of opportunity normally. Check separately for each opponent you move past, in the order in which you pass them (player’s choice of order in case of a tie).Each additional enemy after the first adds +2 to the Tumble DC.
{So I see a Tumble Check at DC 21, or a withdraw move backwards. I think you'd rather take the withdraw move.}

Krysta, Girud and Galdren -
Also, KMAN, I asked Irinys about where we were, how far to our destination, and if he knew of any knights in this area. Also, she now asks if he knows this new symbol...
OOC: Whatever happened to the healing?! (Looks around frantically). Anyway, how much HP do we gain from sleeping? HD + con bonus?
