Hero, Garor and Callian - Dragging the vile noble to his feet, Callian drags him to the door and nearly forces him through it with a shove. He presses the sword to Magmire's throat and whispers.
Magmire pauses, thinking of a clever retort, but the cold steel thrust millimeters deeper into his flesh makes him think otherwise, as does the second command.
He pulls the candle holder from the door slowly and holds the door open an inch or less, speaking through the crack to be heard clearly.
"Stand down, lower ye weapons..."
You hear shuffling outside the door and Magmire leans back, opening the door fully. There are six guards just outside the door, weapons still drawn but not at the ready. They appear sullen and somewhat remorseful, but most of them twitch with anticipation to fight again.
Magmire sneers.
"What will ye do? Rob the town of its protection?"
You notice that a battle still rages on near the entrance to the estate grounds, it appears to be Caelith, Angelus and Newt with more guards. Camir stands confused.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Newt, Angelus, Caelith - Caelith moves back, focusing, gaining the required attention to cast his spell. [Concentration check, Caelith = 15] The spell fizzles and falters, the recent wound proving to be too much.
Newt presses the attack on the guard near him, [Attack Roll = 18, Damage Roll = 2] stabbing his blade lightly into the skin, giving the guard, at best, a mild irritation.
Guard 2 is lightly wounded.
The guards press the attack again.
The one on Newt spins, bringing his blade down. [Attack Roll = Nat 1, DEX Check = 6] The guard seems distracted by his companions ceasing their action at the door and his blade flies from his hand, clattering to the ground.
[Guard 2 is unarmed.]
The two guards near Caelith, knowing mages can do little if hurt, press the attack. [Attack Rolls = 19, 19] Both attacks land, taking pieces of the mage one by one. The two guards laugh maniacally. [Damage Rolls = 6, 4]
Angelus gets his spell off as two balls of light streak through the air, hitting one of the guards near Caelith. [Damage Rolls = 3+2+2(Caster) = 7] The guard staggers a bit, resolving himself to a new target next round.
Guard 3 is wounded.
It is then that you see Camir streak across the grass and bring his blade down on one of the guards near Caelith. [Attack Roll, Camir = Nat 20!, Crit. Confirm, success.] His attack is not only well timed, but exceptionally well-placed. [Damage Roll = 14] The guard drops, his throat sliced cleanly in two. Camir moves between the ambassador and the guard, leveling his blade to the other guard.
Guard 4 is dead. [There are two guards left attacking, both wounded. The two approaching from the door are halted by Magmire's words.]
{Initiative: Caelith, Newt,Camir, the Guards and Angelus.}

Krysta, Girud and Galdren - Asking around about both the knights and the Temple of Light, your answers are simultaneous.
"Just over there..."
Following the fingers pointed, you see a building that could only be from your wildest and most peaceful dreams. It is constructed from the same amber glass, but much lighter and seems to glow less than the towers in the center of the city. It is a simple structure, single level but broadly spaced out. Pillars of clear amber support the front of the roof and walls of the same hold the remainder of the structure upright.
Inside the Temple, you can see what has earned it the name 'Temple of Light'. A brightly illuminated pillar shoots forth from the floor in the center and stretches into the sky above, like a beacon of light.
Several figures mill about the exterior of the building, a few clad in armor...much like the knight you found in the beasts stomach. Other bear white robes and appear to be of a clerical order.
Could it be, The Knights of The Purest-Star are refugees, much like yourselves?

Sehanine, Yuri and Romar -
{No, but elven is close. Some words are pronounced the same...}
Sneaking to the threshold, you watch the strange occurence from the safety of the hallway. The Drow converse, in their native tongue with mouths agape.
[Listen Checks, Spot Checks, Drow. All Fail.]
The appear oblivious to your presence, if you were to attack, now would be the time.
[You have gained the element of surprise, you get one free round to act.]
