[who has the wand right now?]
{Whomever you would like...Magmire dropped, one of you grabbed it.}

Hero, Garor, Callian, Angelus, Caelith - Magmire remains silent, perhaps caused by the knowledge his machinations now uncovered, or perhaps because he's surrounded by those that would do him harm. Camir listens to everyone's words, taking them in slowly.
Hero is the first to talk.
"Captain Camir, this statement is untrue. Our visit to this estate was intially quite peaceful and proper. We spoke with Magmire to find out if any of his staff were possibly involved with the robbery. When it became apparent that Magmire himself knew something or was possibly involved I questioned him further. It was at this point that he drew a wand against us and threatened our persons. I attacked to defend myself and urged my comrades to do likewise. I, and my comrades, acted with honor at all times and did not stray from the dictates of our office or our mission."
Caelith steps forward, nearly dragging the young Maura with him.
"And my investigations, as you already know, Camir, led me to Magmire as well. But I think it might be better for Maura here to tell you what she knows."
"And I do expect her to tell you everything about Magmire's transgressions, and specifically why the Watch has become to personally involved."
"And I do expect her to tell you everything about Magmire's transgressions, and specifically why the Watch has become to personally involved."
Maura, in response to Caelith's cold stare, chokes down a lump in here throat and speaks, turning her gaze to the ground to avoid the stares.
"Magmire is a greedy man..."
The Dwarven noble struggles but remains silent.
"His mining has done little to slake his lust for money so he has turned to...other gold producing prospects. He noticed that many of the orphans from the war were young girls, often spirited away by protective fathers before their villages fell..much like myself."
"Magmire acquires us and offers us food, a home, warm clothes and a place to sleep in exchange for..." Maura pauses, still choking back the information. "...services to men that want it."
"The reason the guard has taken such personal involvement, as Caelith indicates, is because they are all Magmire's best customers..."
The guards stiffen...expecting the blades at their throats to be run through with the delivery of such information.
Camir visibly stumbles back, his eyes impossibly wide. He shakes his head, upset beyond belief.
"Under my very nose! How could I be so blind!"
The Captain stammers a bit, gripping his sword tighter and tighter, his eyes filling with rage. He levels his sword at the nearest guard and prepares to thrust it through the man's neck.
"They are just children...homeless children!!!"
The guard doesn't move. Camir's face twists in rage. Magmire laughs as he decides to play his best card.
"What will ye do boy? Throw everyone of the guard in lockdown? The town will be without defenses! What will Sturmguard say when his prized town falls because only one man stand on the walls?"

Ne(I must break off on my own)wt - Sneaking away, no one seems to notice your movement as they are focused on the event at the estate entrance.
You manuever to the back of the house, sneaking up to the rear door. It is a simple door, four-paned and doesn't appear to have too difficult of a lock on....
[Listen Check, Newt]
From a wine celler door near the rear of the house, you hear a slight whimpering...like a child crying...
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Krysta, Girud and Galdren - Aldolpho stand motionless, his stoic expression a true testament to the idealic image of the knights. He places a hand gently on the heads of all that kneel.
"I have not heard of such respect by strangers in my life. If your words ring true, then you are indeed to be honored as much as our brethren."
You look up to Aldolpho, wondering what he means.
"Please rise and walk among us. Take of our bread and wine, sit and honor us with more of your tales."
The knight extends a hand inward, to the interior of the amber temple, in an offer to sharing information and perhaps more...
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sehanine, Yuri and Romar - Romar moves in, brining his blades about. [Attack Rolls = 8, 19] The second strike hits slicing into the wounded Drow. [Damage Roll = 4] It does little, but the Drow does stagger.
Drow 2 is near death.
Yuri continues to wail on the Drow before him. [Attack Roll = 22] The attack hits hard, nearly knocking the Drow over. [Damage Roll = 8] The dark elf staggers, the life force sucked from such a blow. [Slam effect - 2 levels.] The drow collapses, the remaining life force removed from it.
Drow 1 is dead.
The surviving dark elves turn in unison and do little, other than lean in a bit and remain emotionless. However, the air about their heads wavers and seems to fluctuate, like ripples in a pond. [Three Mind Blasts]
Then you are all hit with it...
[Will Saves, Everyone. Yuri success.]
Only the vampire manages to retain his functions, the rest of you feeling as though your mind was suddenly slammed into the back of your head and it can no longer grasp your muscles to move them.
You stand frozen, unable to move and your mind barely conscious of what's going on.
{Initiative: Romar, Yuri, The Drow, Sehanine.}
[Those of you that are stunned, you can try to break free in the next round. I.E. - Romar, it will be the round after this on that you get to react since you already acted this round. Sehanine can break free next round.]
