Hero, Garor, Callian, Angelus, Caelith and Newt - Hero, Angelus and Garor walk off around the edge of the glade, the mage searching for something...
[Angelus, Search Check] You find the spot...the very same one you remember. The position of the trees...the rocks...even the smell are all strikingly familiar...drudging up memories of that horrid day....
Calieth, Newt - [Spot Checks] You see nothing in the clearing...nothing out of the ordinary anyway. So you cross to the center of the glade and approach the massive crystal. It look much like the one in Ravenshead....aside from the slight discoloration.
Just as you prepare to touch the smooth surface of the massive shard, the ground behind you shakes and stirs, like a small centralized earthquake. The green grass rips like a piece of fabric as its split by a giant figure blasting forth from the ground. The creature leaps into the air, and for a moment you can grasp what it is...
It would normally stand on four legs and it sports a single, stubby tail that is broad and thick. The entire body of the beast is plated as if in armor and the head is a massive spade-shaped thing also plated in chitinous armor.
Gaining the surprise, it blasts into Caelith and bites him with an open maw. [Attack Roll = 24, Damage Roll = 12] The jaw clamps down, nearly crushing the elf's ribcage in one fell bite.
The creature appears to be hunting...for flesh...but is disdained by the taste of the elf. It turns its sights on Newt...
[Initiative: Garor, Hero, Caelith and Angelus, Newt, The Bulette, Callian]
[The remainder of you: Angelus, Hero, Garor and Callian are about 60 ft. away and can see the battle clearly.]

Krysta, Girud and Galdren - The Queen, in a true noble fashion, ignores any further comments cast towards her direction as her son leads you to the elevator. As the platform begins to lower, taking you away from the chamber, Irinys listens calmly to Girud's question, answering it just as subltly.
"No giant, she has not always been like this. Since she has learned of the crystals' ability to end this war, she has become obsessed...short-tempered and ignorant of other's concern."
"I was pleased to be able to venture into the outside world and actually see some combat in my search for the crystals but, before this war, mother would have never sanctioned my leave of this city. I am amazed she had the insight to send you in my place...though I loathe to admit that I will miss the battles..."
The Prince becomes sullen as the elevator reaches the bottom-most floor. He leads to the exit and once outside the massive tower, he points to a large building, again made of the same amber color.
"There is the weapons-store and armory. You may find a few things of exceptional value, certainly things far better than you current garb..."
Though depressed, Irinys seems able to still deliver his usual biting wit.
"Will there be anything else?"
{In the stores:
Weapons: All Simple and Martial Weapons at a +1. Anything beyond that will be special request. (Pre-emptively, Galdren, they do have a Katanna.)
Armor: All Light and Medium Armor including shields up to a +2, Heavy armor is there, but special request again.
Items: (Wonderous or not) Special Request.
Healing and the support personnel will arrive at the Temple later where Mordrock and Adolpho Ustgrave are. To answer for Adolpho:}
In response to Krysta, Adolpho nods.
"The Knights of The Purest-star...for as long as our records go back, have been fighters. Place a sword in our hand, and enemy before us and our will, our heart and our courage will not falter."
"Running around the country-side searching for rocks is not our ideal mission. If you were running an attack against The Master or his minions, our swords would be your side."
"However, we do wish you godspeed and we will keep you in our prayers. Should you change direction and decide a direct assault is better, then please, consider us battle-mates..."
Mordrock is also there, wide-eyed and in awe as Krysta returns. He is pleased to wear better armor and weapons, opting, of course, for ones that are obsiquiously huge or glittering...and that generally don't fit well. He smiles and indicates he's ready to get out of the city where the elves 'look at him funny.'

Yuri, Sehanine and Romar -
{Leniency granted. Sehanine will simply be idle. Please don't rely on her reactions of what not...perhaps she will be stricken with concious and rests by the side of the king...I dunno. But we'll keep her in both games. }
Marg takes the small portion of antidote, ignores all other comments and rushes to the side of his king. He kneels in his full plate and places a gentle hand behind the skull of King Grandil Battlehammer. He gently pours the potion over the blue lips of the king and waits...like the rest of the chamber does, with held breath.
"Praise be to ye laddies and lass...praise be to ye..."
Soon, the Dwarven noble begins to cough and almost instantly sits upright, screaming into the cavernous room.
"By the gods twilight, I'll see e'ery last one of ye damned dark elves smashed on my hammer!!"
It appears that little time has passed in Grandil's mind from being poisoned until the present. The King looks around an relaxes a bit. He notices Marg and the Doorman, both looking over him anxiously, but moreso the trio that stands before him that is not of his race.
"Who be ye? How did ye get into the halls of the Dwarves?"
Marg answers for you.
"They are the ones that saved ye King, they fetched the poison antidote from the stores. They are here because we asked them to come. They lent me aid in the forest and I have yet to repay them."
Grandil looks you over, eventually sitting further upright and standing, despite the best wishes of his lead cleric, Marg. The King waves off any assistance and the first thing he does is reach for an impressive battle-axe resting near a wall. He grips it firmly and points to the bound Derro at your feet.
"Why is that 'thing' here?"
The emphasis on the word thing makes you cringe...
The King then listens to Romar's words, hearing the recount of what has happened to the races the Dwarves of this mountain once had a peaceful relationship with. He rubs his chin and stabs his axe in the direction of the bound Derro.
"Someone look at that gem in it's forehead a bit closer." Grandil then spins and looks to you three. "Tell me...did ye see anything else while wandering around?"

Yuri, Sehanine and Romar -
OOC: Sadly, I don't think Sonnet is coming back for awhile
OOC: in that case all I've got to say is: Kman if you were considering it (and you have the right to do so of course) I only plead for a bit of leniency in this case.
