Hero, Garor, Callian, Angelus, Caelith and Newt - Garor acts first, but his short legs allow him to only cross a small amount of distance, certainly not enough to attack this round. [You're 60ft. away, move once or twice?]
Hero does the same, drawing her trusty blade and charging across the field towards the giant land shark.
Caelith moves around and places his hand upon the crystal shard, thinking to himself:
As if it can hear his plea, the shard's interior swirls and twists, becoming a milky white color just like the crystal shard in Ravenshead. He feels the power of healing flow through his body, regenerating the wounds from the recent bite. [Cure Light Wounds = 9] (This will continue each round you keep a hand on the shard Caelith, so do as you will.) He also draws his blade in preparation of more defense and casts a spell. [Scorching Ray Attack Roll = 21, Damage Roll = 15]
Bulette is wounded.
Angelus, from across the glade, weaves a spell and unleashes it. [Acid Arrow Ranged Attack = 8] The green bolt of energy floats clearly over the bulky beast, landing harmlessly in the field beyond.
Newt, in true adventurer fashion, moves as quickly as he can from the beast that has set its eyes upon his flesh. [Withdraw for 60' and draw sling.]
The Beast, seeing its meal leave, takes a quick inventory of the prey in the field. Of the two that have charged up, one is clearly larger than the other and, although encased in metal, is composed of much more meat than the other. It is towards this prey the beast leaps... [Charge and Bite Attack Roll = 20] [Damage Roll = 15] The bite is nearly lethal, denting her armor like a metal crimper...
Callian moves towards his target, charging and brining his blade down. [Remember, the Bulette moved to Garor/Hero's position.] [Attack Roll = 19] The Blade bounces harmlessly off of the creature's armor-skin.
The battle goes on...
[Initiative: Garor, Hero, Caelith and Angelus, Newt, The Bulette, Callian]

Yuri, Sehanine and Romar - King Grandil looks over you as you speak, eyeing you like only a mistrusting Dwarf can. He eventually relaxes when Romar confirms you have told him everything. It appears that Grandil does not tolerate being lied to.
"Ye be wise for bringing him here Romar and companion, it will be of great help to us to determine who is at the root of this uprising...."
Marg takes a single step towards his King and whispers a few things into his ear. The conversation goes on for a minute before the King looks back to you and nods.
"Marg tells me ye saved him in the forrest and that ye saved me from the poison of our counterparts...he also says ye be chasing an animal that means much to ye..."
"Surely Bazarkrak can be of some service for such heroes that lend such help to strangers..."
The King walks, expecting you to follow. A few lesser Dwarves take the Derro to a corner and begin the process of inspecting the gem and potentially beginning interrogation.
"We Dwarves have been accused of hiding... or burying ourselves within our mountain...hiding from battle..."
Grandil slams the end of his axe on the stone floor soundly.
"The Dwarves are anything but cowards!!"
"We just need time...uninterrupted time to develop our army..."
Grandil pauses, giving you just enough time to raise your eyebrows.
"We Dwarves are masters of stone and metal...things of the earth and combining both into wonderous things. Castles, weapons...and now, constructs."
"That's right, we have been creating an army deep within the bowels of this mountain that is entirely constructs. I will no longer waste my good men on the frontlines, fighting soldiers that die once and return with greater strength. My men will fight from afar, controlling juggernauts of metal, stone and machinery from the safety of the mountain here."
"We will open the doors and bury 'The Master' in a wave of metal and stone."
You begin to raise your finger, noting that Grandil has yet to address how he will help you. Grandil notes and immediately addresses it now.
"With the constructs, we have developed a way to control them without spending the magic and energy to give them sentience...it's a temporary transport of the soul. We Dwarves are also masters of faith and prayer, so we have mastered the ability to transport many souls for a short amount of time..."
"For ye help, I offer the services of Bazarkrak...we will build you a mechanical horse and permanently replace it with the soul of ye departed animal companion..."
Grandil also looks to Sehanine and Yuri.
"Of course, we would provide ye with animals as well..."
"What say ye?"

Caelith moves around and places his hand upon the crystal shard, thinking to himself:
"I hope this shard heals like the other one, or I could be dead in one more hit."
As if it can hear his plea, the shard's interior swirls and twists, becoming a milky white color just like the crystal shard in Ravenshead. He feels the power of healing flow through his body, regenerating the wounds from the recent bite.
