Hero, Garor, Callian, Angelus, Caelith and Newt - Garor takes a moment to refocus.
Hero brings her longsword around, whirling it at the bulette. [Attack Roll = Critical! Confirm, Success] The blade drives deep into the snout of the beast, nearly slicing the jaw clean off. [Damage Roll = 15]
Bulette is severly wounded. (Down 50)
Caelith, intent on deciphering the power of this crystal, performs a small test. He removes his hand and then replaces it, thinking:
However, the color of the crystal does not change, instead staying a milky white color. [Cure Light Wounds = 5, if needed.] Discouraged, Caelith blasts across the grass to the rear of the Bulette, flanking it. [Attack Roll = 22, Damage Roll = 6] The blade drives deep into its flanks.
Bulette is severly wounded. (Down 56)
Angelus twists his hands in the air again, bringing them together to unleash a burning ray of heat. [Aganazzar's scorcher = 10 Ref Success = 5 Damage.] The ray seems ineffectual, only driving the beast further into rage.
Bulette is severly wounded. (Down 61)
Newt, the refocus master, seems dumbfounded as he remains out of battle.
The Bulette stamps its feet and gnashes at Hero, still the most tantalizing morsel on the battle field. [Attack Roll = 24, Damage Roll = 15] The bite is nearly mortally wounding, leaving Hero's armor further dented and nearly crushed.
Last to act is Callian, taking a swing again. [Attack Roll = Nat 20!, Crit. Confirm, Fail.] The blow, although greatly damaging, manages to ricochet at the last moment off of the beasts plates. [Damage Roll = 5]
Bulette is severly wounded. (Down 66)
[Initiative: Garor, Hero, Caelith and Angelus, Newt, The Bulette, Callian]

Krysta, Girud and Galdren - The Elves, upon being addressed by Krysta, nod approvingly. It appears they may have estimated your trio to be something less than what your initial speech has no proven you to be. Once potions are divided, weapons secured and gear donned, the mages of the party step forth. They request everyone join hands and stand in a circle.
Mordrock, of course, immediately steps to Krysta's right and wraps a grubby hand around hers, casting a scouring glance to the elven warrior that takes the other. The mage requests the map and studies to location a bit, nodding and returning it once he has finished.
"I will try to get us as close as possible...with so many people, it could be difficult."
Mordrock, puzzled, looks up to Krysta and tilts his head to the side.
"Get close? What he mean...what we doiAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"
Mordrock's words are cut off as a silver globe envelops you and all you stand near. The world flashes by in an instant, colors melting and running as though they were oil paint.
Then it's over...
When your head finally stops spinning, you see that you now stand in a forest, on the edge of a vast clearing. In the center of the clearing, there are two large holes - one that appears to have burst like a boil, the other like something was excavated from it. The grass in the area is trampled and even from here, you can see blood.
Almost instantly, your eyes shoot to the mages. The one casting the spell again requests the map and looks it over. He mutters.
"No...the spell worked. We are very near where the crystal should be."
"There is a delay...the map doesn't not tell the exact location of the crystals as they are in that moment, but rather as they were. By tomorrow's morn, we will know exactly where the crystal is..."
Less than comforting words....
The scouts dart off slightly from the party, scanning the trees around. The shake their heads indicating the surrounding woods are clear. The remaining soliders await orders...
[Remember guys, you're not quite on the exact time table as the other group. By my guess, you are one day ahead of the other groups post...I'm guessing they are moving the crystal. React accordingly. I will try to speed up the other peoples post and get you both on the same time table...]

Romar, Sehanine and Yuri - Grandil looks to Romar like a father would a child...he truly feels your pain and cares for your problem, but at the same time, he seems hurt you do not immediately leap on his offer.
"Ye dedication rivals even the most stubborn of Dwarves laddy. I understand ye concerns."
"She will not be a living horse anymore...I canna deny that. She will be stronger, faster and she'll ne'er know the difference. Our men that temporarily transport their souls into our machines claim they can feel everything as if it were their own body."
"If ye are truly worried about it...I have clerics that can bring her soul back, but there's no guarantee it'll be the same animal. She could come back as a rat, an owl...or a dozen other animals. All of my high clerics died in the initial attack by them damned Drow and Derro...and they were the ones that could bring her back without the need for the remains."
As if on cue, one of the Dwarves interrogating the Derro in the corner trots over and leans into the King's ear. He whispers something that must be confusing because Grandil's face twists in a puzzled expression. He explains.
"The Derro over there canna remember a thing about the attack. The last he remembers is a sound conkin' on the head...then waking up here. It appears those gems control the mind and wipe it clean while...whomever, controls it."
"The Derro did say that he remembers heading into the main Plan Library...where we keep records of every castle, keep and dungeon we have ever built...he said that he remembers almost all of the Drow were collected there..."
"However, none of this concerns ye, should you take either offer and leave, this be a problem for the Dwarves."
King Grandil awaits your discussion...
