Hero - You take a step forward, throwing the Elite warrior off guard with a slight feint before back-spinning, blade leveled out like a fan. [Attack Rolls = 23/23] Both revolutions produce a spray of blood that coats all standing within five feet. [Damage Rolls = 14, 13]
The Elite warrior collapses, knees first before planting face down in the dirt. His sides ooze blood quickly, conveniently able to find a way out the new holes in his torso.
The enemy has died...

Krysta - Mordrock looks up at you with beady eyes of solid black. It is almost unnerving as you imagine what he's thinking about you, always undressing you...in a rather comical sense, but still...
When asked about the troops in this region, he scrubs his scruffy chin trying to mimick the movement of the graceful Caelith or diplomatic Callian. It of course fails as soon as he opens his mouth. [Knowledge Check, Master's Troops]
"None should be here. SlaughterFog was biggest troop Master had, also most dangerous. If they sent, then they kill everything...including other troops. So usually sent alone."
"We should be safe...as long as you stick close to Mordrock!"
Again, the little goblin flexes and takes a step closer to you, clearly doing anything to mark you as 'his' - short of rubbing his scent on you.

Hero and Caelith - Searching through your heads, you come up with the following memories of the things Krysta mentions.
[Caelith and Hero, Knowledge Checks] Unfortunately Hero doesn't remember much, but Caelith's head fills with an inordinate amount of information. He remembers about the Knight's of The Purest Star, or rather about a tale from Carealal.
It was recorded in the libraries of Carealal, but they have long since burned and decayed into silent memorials of the information they once housed. But he distinctly remembers a tale about a certain human knight, one named Yurt Ustgrave, that arrived in Carealal unannouced. He requested to speak with the leaders of Carealal, proclaiming he was forming a band of knights to fight the undead in the land - a band he would call 'The Knights of the Purest Star'. He would name them that for a star that appeared in the night sky that burned brightly, like a pure candle.
It was not a plague at the time, but a certain Lich-King was gaining power, a powerful sorceror by the name of Lurst. The Elven council leaders of Carealal laughed at Yurt, proclaiming that a human would never be powerful enough to face someone as Lurst. Yurt remained calm and stoic before the council, asking what he must do to prove a human's worth. Shocked, the council gave Yurt a series of trials they felt the human would never complete - scales from a dragon, a month without food or water, fend off a hundred attackers - all insanely difficult tasks.
Yurt did these, and much more...
He spent a year excelling at every trial the council placed before him, to there continued shock, proving humans were just as valuable as Elves. After a year of defeat, the council conceded and offered Yurt any amount of warriors he demanded.
Yurt was not through shocking them...
He denied the offer, saying that after his trials and witnessing the vanity of the pointed ear race, he would rather be surrounded by brothers than doubters.
Without a word, he disappeared into the wilderness. Not much was recorded after that, save that Yurt formed his band of humans and hunted undead with unrivaled fury.
It was also rumored that Karn, mighty warrior of light, was a Knight of The Purest Star as well, thus his devotion to fighting undead and eventual tragic end fighting the very Lich-King Yurt promised to destroy - Lurst.
Caelith however, does not remember much about 'The Glade'...
{See what a 20 and a 1 getcha?}

Hero, Callian, Caelith, Garor, Newt, Krysta, Girud and Galdren - [Wow it's strange to see all these names at once. ]
Once the bodies are thoroughly searched, they are stacked high with as much dry tinder and twigs as you can rummage. They are arranged, not in a particularly fashionable arrangement - they were traitors - and the pyre is lit. Within minutes, flames jump from bark to skin, from wood to flesh and the crackling blaze reaches high into the sky.
It is an effigy to Astoril, a soon forgotten memorial to it's warriors - a sign that Blackwing prevailed this day and forward...
You gather everything and make your way to the edge of the cliff, using the rope to reach the bottom with repelling. The others simply vein-ride, reaching the bottom of the cliff face in seconds. Caelith and others head towards the refugees, finding them easily in the dark as the only string of torches and light within dozens of miles. Through the use of magic and just sheer effort, the refugees make it to a series of caves at the base of the mountain range.
They huddle into the caves, one by one, until the natural holes become packed with the wounded like corks in a bottle. Delomme is tired, looking extremely weary and in dire need of rest, his eyes staring blankly into the fire.
Through a series of fortunate circumstances, you've managed to keep Girud, Galdren and Krysta hidden...but you must now get the weary leader to agree to their presence at the refugee camp...
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Romar and Yuri - Veya looks longingly at the proffered hug, clearly the first sign of contact she's ever been offered in response to her tale. She settles for the distance you place between shortly afterwards, though her eyes tell you she's quite enamorate with you and longs for something more...even if for a night.
"Very well, Romar, I will ignore your companion for the time being - your eyes seem trustful."
"However, in regards to your quest, I'm afraid 'The Fatherless' have little to offer you. If you needed to travel great distances in a short amount of time, our mounts could easily carry you and your..." Veya's eyes drift to your mounts, her mouth opening. "WHAT are these things anyway?"
The dawn begins to creep up even further, it will be here within the hour. Perhaps a place to rest for Yuri during the day is important...
