Newt and Garor - Slowly crossing the distance between you and the giant behemoth monument that is Bazarkrak, training takes over and you search for anything. [Spot Checks, Newt and Garor] Aside from two pairs of horse tracks just ouside the mouth that seem to lead dead into Drakil forest behind you, there is little to indicate anything is amiss.
You continue, up a small embankment, stopping just inside the huge screaming maw of a mouth, just before the double doors of solid iron that are thirty feet or higher.
It is here that you make your presence known;
It echoes from the mouth, louder than ever, as though the mountain itself screamed it. It takes a minute or longer, but a small section of the door, enough for a two eyes to peep out, pulls aside. You recognize the Dwarf behind the slit, his name Farglan. He apparently recognizes you as well as his eyes widen like dinner plates. The slit closes and you hear a loud shout and the pulling of the heavy iron bar aside.
Within seconds, the all-too-familiar scent of the forges rushes out and assaults your nose. It is followed closely by a face you were certain you would never see again...
Grandil Battlehammer, King of Bazarkrak...
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Caelith - Heading to where the great city of Cannon's Foot, or rather its remnants, you find little of value. There have been no digging attempts, sans, of course, your own efforts to save the survivors.
After a series of spells, your are pointed towards the sea.
Apparently, the crystal was blown free of its subterranean home and sent flying into the depths of the ocean.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hero, Callian, Caelith, Krysta, Girud and Galdren - Some climb into the small bags, chuckling slightly at such a ridiculous idea. Delomme bids you all a fond farewell and will certainly seek you out after his people have re-settled in Ravenshead.
Those that can, drop into the veins of the Earth, tearing through the crust quickly. The ores smear and the dirt screams past, seconds later replaced by the familar town of Ravenshead as it springs to life around you.
However, you instantly realize that things are amiss...
People scream, not startled by your approach, but with hands held over their heads and carrying buckets of water. You see several bodies of soldiers, burned and charred, some with tears through their chest from large talons. Several pillars of smoke rise about you, from burning roofs and buildings, alight with brilliant flames.
Then you spot the trouble causing this....dragons. Two of them with crimson scales glittering, like the blood they draw, in the mid-morning sun. One swoops over head, breathing fire in a straight line before it drops lower, grabbing a soldier and a random maiden, taking them high into the sky to tear them apart.
You see Sturmguard atop a rampart, his cloak on fire and burning about his neck. However, he has blade drawn and is fending off one of the two dragons with his sword while the 'Faceless' Knight remains close by his side, reaching for the young woman held in the Dragons claws...
You also immediately notice the healing crystal, normally on the steps of Ravenshead appear to have been moved.
It seems as though Sturmguard's ruling will have to wait...

Yuri and Romar - As Veya listens to your introduction, you are suddenly filled with a strange sensation.
Never before have so many eyes been upon you...
The women of the town move towards you, pawning at you, trying to be the first to excersize their pent up lack of attention. The phrases fly out en masse and it's difficult to make any real sentences out of it.
"The Hidden City? Wow! Are you adventurers?"
"You look famished, why don't you let us get you some food?"
"Those garments look frightfully thin. Here, take some furs."
Just as is seems as though the swarm of companion-less woman will swallow you whole, a piercing whistle shatters the fog-muted air. It's Veya, and she stands on a box nearby to elevate herself above the others.
"Ladies!" Veya shouts in a most commanding tone that quells the curiousity quickly. "They have come here to rest and get supplies before leaving our city. They are not staying..."
With a visible crash, the energy level of the event seems to have flatlined. The woman lower their heads and back away, giving you room to breathe. Veya comes down and points towards a small tent that is lined thick with furs.
"Please, see yourselves to my tent, I'll be in shortly. Make yourselves at home."
Just as Veya moves past you, speaking to a few other key women in the area, you spot a woman that is of impossibly more striking than beauty than Veya. Her hair falls to either side of her face in straight ebony lines, framing a pale face of the most chisled beauty.
However, the strangest thing is that she nods to Yuri knowingly...smiling a bit and motioning to her own tent.
