Newt and Garor - [Garor is with me and Newt is still turtle-humping in Galapagos. So I can skip this section for now.]
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Callian and Caelith - Emirikol leans forward and stares straight into your eyes. His throne of ineffable power wavers a bit, reflecting a bit of light from some unseen source.
"Help eh? I wonder what an orphaned human from Blackwing and an ex-mage from Carealal could want." The sarcasm in Emirikol's voice can almost be tasted. "It wouldn't happen to deal with the shards could it?"
The mage of chaos chuckles a bit, like a tyrant dangling a carrot before a starving mule - taunting you with information.
"Yes Caelith, I keep an impressive abode, and an even more impressive tab on current events...I know you both seek the shard contained within the tomb of Karn. I will tell you this..."
"Retrieving it will be no easy task."
"The Master is powerful, and his power goes well beyond this plane in the form of influence. He too, knows you seek the shards and laughs at your ignorance of their purpose." The mage shuffles a bit and leans forward. "The Master called in a few otherworldly favors, and through no small feat of magic, the temple was pulled to a nether region of Baator - neither fully on one level or another. It lays in a void between the fifth and sixth regions of the Nine Hells."
"The only way to reach such a place is by a sailing vessel, but no ordinary vessel will do however, for you must sail down the river Styx - whose waters will erase your mind with but a touch. It just so happens that I have a vessel, I'm willing to not only lend - but entirely give to you for such a cause."
"Karn was a good friend and a good man, it is his will alone that ensures the temple's living inhabitants do not succumb to the monstrous torture of devils. He fights even now, fending off the hordes of the hells, keeping them safe."
"You promise to see Karn's soul to rest, and I'll give you the DemonWing, the only vessel capable of sailing straight into hell...I'll even include the crew for it...."
The slightest flick of Emirikol's eyes send a horrible shiver down your spine. He waits, gently floating in a chair, awaiting your response.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Girud, Galdren, Krysta and Hero - The lady sheathes her blade and disperse the crackling energy encasing her hand. She immediately courtsies slightly.
"A thousand apologies and more, I should have placed your method of travel in line with Callian and Caelith, also the small one called Newt."
"I am Allessia Storm-Maiden, head druid of the coven of 'The Glade'. Callian and Caelith passed through moments ago, and should now be at the home of Emirikol the Chaotic. A well-knowned mage that may be able to assist us in our plight." Alessia spins and motions to the ghostly building. "Our plight, as you can see, is this structure. The tomb of Karn, great warrior of light and champion of all. We were charged with ensuring Karn's body remained in peaceful respite throughout eternity for his deeds and we have failed."
"His tomb was pulled into another world, by some terrible and powerful force, one which we could not stop. Since we are ill-advised to matters of the chaotic nature, we emplored Callian and Caelith to seek Emirikol the Chaotic to help us... as Emirikol proved less than friendly to us in the past."
"They graciously accepted and that is now where they find themselves..."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yuri - [That is such awesome role-playing and such a good bluff that I really have no retort...no reason why it wouldn't work. Good job!]
The vampires recoil as though suddenly doused with holy water. They retract to a corner of the tent and stare, lost for words. Kiera takes a step closer to you, proudly placing her arm about you as you have clearly become the leader of this situation.
"Until nightfall then...my sweet."
The other vampires hiss, but grugdingly accept. They motion to the outside of the tent with a trio of lithe arms.
"Would the sire like any preparations to be made firsthand?"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Romar - After a thorough search of the city, you feel you have gathered nearly every living soul in New RocRoost that you could find. They have gathered at Veya's tent and are now mostly armed and armored. Veya steps forth, nodding approvingly.
"You have down well Romar Belamor." Her eyes betray not only admiriation, but possibly something deeper. "We have gathered here and but with a short sprint we could make our mounts."
"Where would you have us ride?"
