Krysta, Caelith, Hero, Garor, Newt, Girud, Galdren and Callian - Placing the boats in the water, their bows gently break the crust of the filth-ridden water, awaiting their passengers. [I'll assume to are used, I'll need to know how they are broken up.] There are two pairs of oars for each boat, small wooden things that look rotted with age and mildew...but function none the less.
The boats begin to slip over the water towards the western-most opening of the trio of openings before you. The looming stone walls and ceilings expand ever more around you, a strange feeling when you know you are in the bowls of a ship. Still, something about this ship makes it seem like you are in a different plane...as though the DemonWing IS its own plane of existence - a little piece of the abyss solidified into a galleon.
As you round the corner to the west, the pathway heads to the North again, at least you think its north again, and appears to go on for hundreds....if not thousands of yards with no sign of break or turns in sight.
One thing become clear however, as you slip into the corridor...the water begins pulling you forward...fast.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yuri and Romar - {Arduous, Yuri, means difficult or hard.}
Satisfied that the glimmering on the horizon must have been 'The Hidden City', you spur your mounts forward.
It is not long before you reach the chasm. It runs between two oppressive cliff faces, and is - at best - twenty feet wide. The sides of the cliff face stretch hundreds of feet over you, keeping the chasm itself in complete darkness...probably even so during the day.
Next to the entrance of the chasm, etched into the rock face itself is a stylized script written in a strange language. [Celestial if anyone speaks it]
The chasm extends for a mile or more before you...daring you to enter...
