Krysta, Girud, Mordrock, Galdren, Hero, Caelith, Callian and Garor - Once everyone has been gathered and dried, the dismay of the recent event seems to weigh heavily in the air. Disgruntled and soaked, you slip into the next pair of boats, hoping no more tricks like this are in store for you.
You push out over the water and, after a dozen oarstrokes, you find yourselves in the middle tunnel.
As you cross the threshold to the deeper depths of the ship, you see two landings, one to your left and one to your right. Both come up from the water and provide a clean, dry place to open the doors set in each path. The doors appear to be iron, molded with leering demonic faces like so much else here.
The tunnel ahead appears much like the previous tunnel, long and inforgiving with no twists or turns.
Do you dock the boats and explore here to the left or right, press on further into the ship or return and take the path to the right?
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yuri and Romar - Romar takes another step, laying into the golem with steel. [Attack Rolls = 15/20, 25/13] Only one attack lands, the rest deflecting harmlessly off of the golem's hard stone skin. [First offhand attack Damage Roll = 9] The golem seems mostly unaffected, shrugging off the damage.
Golem is scratched. (Down 9)
Yuri goes next, swinging the feeble rusted blade at the stone monstrosity towering over him. [Attack Roll = 10] The blade does little, in fact denting as it slides off his stone skin.
The golem swings downward again, intent on shattering the rusted shield. [Opposed Sunder Attack Rolls = 30 vs. 19] The golem bashes the shield again with terrifying efficiency. [Damage Roll = 15] The shield shatters, or more is split neatly in half, leaving Yuri defense-less...
It brings its blade upright again, ready to shatter bone...
[Initiative: Romar, Yuri, The Golem.]
] = Weapons Rack
Y = Yuri
G = Golem
C = Child Statue
