{And since this looks like a battle, who is holding onto Alton?}
{No one is. He is sufficiently restrained from hurting himself or others. He's lying in a heap outside the door.}

Krysta, Caelith, Girud, Mordrock, Galdren, and Garor - Krysta launches into action, unleashing a hail of arrows. [Attack Rolls = 24/23] Both arrows strike and, as they do, the fizzle and hiss with the sound of wood tossed into a fire. [Damage Rolls = 8/14] The Remorhaz howls and lurches back.
Caelith refocuses. (No post)
Mordrock takes a step to the side, firing at the huge beast in the next room. [Attack Rolls = 15/15] Both arrows sail wide of the Remorhaz and it remains unharmed by the Goblin's actions.
Girud charges into the room to face the worm-beast, healed and filled with a sense of courage from the paladins. [Attack Roll = 19] The blade falls just shy of striking the worm, so much that Girud can feel the intense heat of the beast just from standing this close to it.
Galdren, never one to be left behind, follows the half-giant into the room. [Attack Roll = 15] His blades also fall short of striking, hitting only a broken food crate nearby.
The huge worm now lashes out, going for the biggest meal first - Girud. [Attack Roll = 32] The worm manages to nearly swallow Girud whole, raking its teeth across his chest. [Damage Roll = 21, Awesome Blow, Ref Save vs. DC 21 (damage dealt) = fail] With the blow, the worm sends Girud sprawling across the kitchen and into some crates against the East wall. [Girud is now prone]
Michuth moves in and manages to land a solid blow on the creature, taking Girud's spot.
Callian remains focused, allowing the other paladin's to move in. [No post]
Garoa charges in, bringing his mail to bear on the worm's scaled flesh. [Attack Roll = 32] The maul slams into the beast and sends a echoing scream throughout the room. [Damage Roll = 18, Weapon Fort Save = Success] With the slam, the flesh spurts a bit of feiry liquid that nearly burns the head of the maul off...but it manages to stay intact.
Brother Hingar moves in and manuevers for a good blow next round.
[Adelia, Knowledge Arcana check] Adelia knows little of these creatures, save they are more often found in the icy wastes or frozen tundras...not here in the hottest plane of hell. However, just outside this twisted temple is Coldsteel - which this creature could have easily called home. It has no known weaknesses.
Adelia fires her spell. [Ranged touch hit, modifier = 15, damage roll = 20] The Remorhaz howls, but does not appear to be that wounded yet...it has more than enough fight left in it.
Vorren and Jannoch both move to offer better fighting next round...
The worm-beast howls, ready for more.
[Initiative: Krysta, Caelith, Mordrock and Girud, Galdren and the Remorhaz, Michuth, Callian and Garor, Brother Hingar, Adelia, Vorren and Jannoch]

COUNTDOWN - 01:16 Hours to Apocalypse Clock Chime...
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yuri and Romar - Shrinking back from the ramparts as the Hidden City finds life breathed back into it, you hear the steps continue up their path to the belfry. Eventually, you hear a figdeting with a door down below and a male voice humming a slight tune.
Once the tune nears you, it stops and you see a older man clad in garb of a priest. He is slightly overweight, not too much, but enough to carry a bit of girth to this frame. His head is shaved and topped with a large black hat covered in embroided holy symbols. He startles at seeing you both and immediatly looks scornful.
"What are you two doing up here? This area is for those tasked with bell duty only!!"
It's clear this city has just come from a slumber - unaware of what has happened recently. You shudder to think of how you are going to explain it.
The man points to the lower landing, down a flight of steps, indicating you should move there immediately.
