{Anyone seen or heard from Udjat recently?}

Krysta, Caelith, Girud, Mordrock, Galdren, and Garor -
Another obelisk falls to the relentless blows of Garor and Girud. With the screaming stone gone, the cool rush of air floods the chamber again - bringing with it a sense of hope and relief from the sweltering heat.
Just as soon as it comes though, it's gone again....
There are no more obelisks on this side of the room, so advancing to the other end of this grand chamber, you prepare to battle whatever else hell has to throw at you. You pass a large dias topped by a giant crystal ball that swirls with ebony mist.
Despite your best searches, you find nothing on this end of the chamber. No hidden demons, no devils lying in wait....could it have been the shadows playing upon the walls or is there truly something dire here?
Further in the chamber, you come to yet another screaming obelisk - and this one should suffer no different fate. Garor and Girud go to work on it...{I'll assume you smash the shizzle out of this one too?}
As you reduce the screaming horrible stone to dust, you again feel the cool air, but still can find nothing to ease your fears that what you saw was merely dancing shadows. It looked real, it looked like figures in the dark mocking you...but you can find nothing.
Ignoring this for now, Brother Hingar motions you all over to a small hidden doorway on the North wall of the room.
"This is a doorway that will lead to the main chamber...however, when we passed it earlier, we noted that molten magma filled the chamber. Though below this level of the door, it is everywhere."
"Who knows though, with the destruction of the obelisks, the lava could have receeded...."
He nods to his paladin companions.
"If you want to try this door, we're with you..."

COUNTDOWN - 01:08 Hours to Apocalypse Clock Chime...

Yuri and Romar - The tribunal hears your request and speaks to the ranger first.
"Of course, we always welcome others into our brotherhood. Your devotion to good and to the gods, Romar Belamor, is an inspiration to us all."
"However, Fahrlanghn is not a god that demands the sacrifice of wanderlust...in fact, the devotions are quite the opposite. The teachings of Fahrlanghn incourage wander and travel, the road and all good things on it."
"We will help you as we can, provide tomes and holy symbols of only the finest quality and blessing....but their must be something more we can do than simply guide you on the path to Fahrlanghn..."
It takes the council a moment or more to speak in murmurs about Yuri. They coerce silently behind their giant stone council table, discussing the request of the vampire. Eventually, the council hushes and you are addressed.
"Admittedly your request caught us unaware Yuri Brottor...and I'm afraid there is little we can do to free your soul from the grasp of the dead."
"For your soul is the one thing that no god can have control over...save for giving it willingly. Your soul is the one thing you have complete control over - and you sacrificed it willingly."
You heart slumps as you hear the words...knowing full well that it was sacrificed, but for a greater good. The lead cleric goes on.
"But...fear not, for you gave your soul to death and death is not always negative. There are powerful death magics, positive powerful death magics that can sustain your soul as well as any vampires kiss."
"What it has done to you biologically cannot be avoided and we may have a solution for that as well, but we can sever your ties to the plane of negative energy and instead, redirect them to the plane of positive energy...to a place of good."
"...Where we know your heart truly lies..."
"Perhaps while Romar spends some time with followers of Fahrlanghn we can perform the ritual?"
The words soar like majestic eagles into your heart. The council looks to each other, nods and looks back to you both.
"Is this what you desire? The Hidden City is deeply indebted to you for your actions, and our gratitude knows no bounds."
