Krysta, Caelith, Girud, Mordrock, Galdren, and Garor - The elephants are quick and powerful, lifting even Girud like he were a leaf dried in autumn. When they move forward, the ground shakes and all manner of things are crushed under foot.
The way Allessia moves them, it's as though 'The Master' himself was at her heels...and for all you know, he could be.
It doesn't take long for the elephants to crash their way to open prarie, and when they do, they begin to gallop at full stride. Their bulky skin bulging with each massive stride, the elephants make good distance quickly. Foothills pass by them and the wind rushes past you, keeping you cool in the midday sun. You pass herds of grazing animals that scatter at the thunderous approach and numerous huts and villages that have long since been abandoned or burned out.
You take a moment to realize, charging across the plains on the backs of these huge beasts, that the lands certainly do feel different. 'The Master' has touched everything you can see in one way or another, leaving a blackened mark upon a once beatiful land. Trees seem less full of life, the sounds of birds so common before you left is now absent...it's like everything has died - just a little bit.
Before you realize, you've come over a hilltop to spot the once-gleaming tower of Ravenshead castle in the distance. It's near where Boon's Freehold once stood, its burned remnants also visible on the Northern horizon to your right.
However, it is what is around Ravenshead that catches your eyes now.
First and foremost, mere feet away from the mighty wall that protects the inhabitants is an army of giant metal men. They stand rigid, some moving an arm or a blade occasionally, giving the impression they are beyond statues. There must be hundreds, almost thousands of them.
Beyond this, spread about the front of the castle in its meadows is what appears to be a siege force. Thousands of figures mill about, their camp taking up nearly a square mile in size. But this is no ordinary force....
The main force of soliders are all brilliant hues of greens, walking as though the land slows their gait. They carry spears, tridents and other weaponry commonly seen in the sea. Amongst the soldiers are large turtle-like creatures that appear to be mounts and strange crab-like creatures that the soldiers climb in and out of like they were hollow.
On top of this, none of them appear to be the walking dead that 'The Master' usually commands. This is a living, breathing force of the sea laying siege to Ravenshead...
Allessia calls the dire elephants to a halt and leans backwards to speak to you.
"What manner of attack is this?"

Yuri and Romar - The cleric nods and ushers you to a group of the master diviners holding hands in a circle. When you near them, it's as though the hair on the back of your neck stand straight up - there's so much power.
The cleric takes your hands in one and graps a portion of the circle with the other. She whispers softly;
"Think of the place in your memory...call it to life in your mind and hold it - cradle it like you would a loved child."
You close your eyes and focus, the small glade to the East of Ravenshead, on the path to Boon's Freehold...the fated place where so many of your lives took a turn for the worst.
Then, you feel your body begin to shift. Its as though the land beneath you suddenly gives way to nothingness, a vast landscape of air. Your eyes do not open, still hearing the soothing words of the cleric.
"Don't let go of it...focus!"
She grips your hand tighter and the wind rushes about you like a tornado. Your cloaks whip, swords batter in their scabbards and hair flies wildly about.
Then it's over...
Opening your eyes, the landscape has indeed changed drastically. Instead of the foothills in the mountains, you are now in a glade - open and wide. the trees encompass you, save for one side, the side that faces your home castle Ravenshead.
Your eyes immediately take note of what has taken place. Like the diviners said, the army of metal men from Bazarkrak have surrounded the castle and now stand vigilant. They are hundreds in number, lining the massive walls like ramparts or spearheads.
Before the castle, at a distance clearly intended for sieges, there is another force. Thousands of figures bustle about a large encampment, their brilliant green skin visible from here. Large turtles, huge crabs and lobster-like figures bustle about tents seeming made from kelp and other sea material.
This looks like a force that belongs beneath the waves - not knocking on the doorstep of Ravenshead.
If you had to guess by movement, the seige army was preparing to make a move, probably at dawn on a soon-to-come day.
You look to each other, wondering what to do...
[Spot Checks, Romar success] On a hilltop, not that far from you - only a few hundred feet or more - you spot a trio of the largest elephants you have ever seen. Atop these elehpants are figures, near ten in number. They are well-armed and carry themselves with an aura of curiousity rather than attack.
Getting a closer look, yuo can make out the form of Girud - then gentle giant you once fought along side. Sure enough, with him are Garor, the Dwarven cleric, Krysta...most of the party if there, though some are missing.
They have not seen you yet, focusing on the events at Ravenshead instead...

Does anyone have any qualms with letting Merv back in? Feel free to express here or PM me with anything.
