"We did our best...'The Master' will be hard-pressed to get into our mountain lad, hard-pressed indeed."

"Let us not focus on that though, let us focus on removing 'The Master' from this life. If he's gone, we wont hafta worry about him in our moutain."

The Dwarven King looks on, nodding to the Half-Giant and the others.

"Was it ye got in your minds lads?"

Everyone else - King Sturmguard watches Romar trail off and the interaction between everyone...with a heavy heart. Eventhough the duties of his throne weigh heavily on him, King Sturmguard still finds a small piece in his heart to empathize with just one soul. He sighs heavily.



"She would not speak to anyone for nearly a month after we declared you all dead...and it took four times that amount for her to even address men."

"It was finally the 'Faceless Knight' that brought her out of her coma, taught her to live on and honor Romar - not mourn him. I can only imagine what she feels right now..."

He shakes such thoughts from his head and focuses on the matter at hand.

"Leave him be, he'll come around. We all have to deal with our own problems in this war."

"I like your plan, I really do. Give this until morning and we shall let Yuri arrange one final negotiation with them. I doubt they will attack before then."

"Get some sleep...for tomorrow the city needs its saviours rested..."

{Girud has nothing more to offer till the machine is up and running and we are ready to negotiate. So long as he and Alton are fully healed by the crystal they'll be alright.}

He would however like to search around town for some new weapons. He doens't need anything magical, but whatever he can find would be helpful. He'll trade off his MW Greatsword for a set of four throwing axes (Magical or MW would be nice, but not necissary).

{For the record we also still have some magical loot (party's stuff) in the Bag of Holding Girud is carrying. (I think these are still there, if somone already claimed them or wishes to now, let me know.)

Also, does anyone know what happened to the stuff that Callian was carrying? (since he just kinda disappeared) I remember that we picked up a hella cool ring, but he had that when he disappeared. I don't even remember if someone actually took all of the loot we found there. Anyone else remember?

I think Mordrock took the +1 Small Steel Shield of Light Fortification. He can't use it though, so it's hopeless....

He would really go for some items to help him be sneaky and such. MW Theives tools, etc... plus anything magical for the little guy as far as weapons or armour would be great.

Krysta would like a Bastard Sword, Magical if available, as she used up her Feat for that Exotic Weapon. Might as well try and get some use out of it.

She'll act according to the King's reply on the Knights...

Yes, the knights are here as well as Adolpho, the leader of the knights. King Sturmgurd happily points you in the right direction. It seems the knights have been making camp near the city gates.

Yuri finally steps away and lets Romar pass, although deep inside, he knows it is a bad idea. Within his head, Sindri speeks to him.

He has already been through much, but I hope you are right my friend....

With this, Yuri turns to make preparations for the final words of negotiations with the sea-creatures, drinking from his cantine and muttering a silent prayer for guidance before doing so. While wandering around town, he hopes to find a simple weapon better to use than his shortspear and light crossbow, maybe even someone who has dabbled in psionics and can help him in his endevours with an item of some sort. He also talks with Adelia to get a better idea as to what he will be facing, as she has seen things he has not seen.... at least, not yet.

Standing slightly off to the side, Galdren suddenly notices Romar, Yuri, and Krysta talking loudly enough to attract his attention. Glancing over, he sees that Romar's face is full of anguish and pain, and silently salutes him. I hope I never go through an experience as harrowing as the one he went through, Galdren thinks to himself. He then brings himself to the matter of negotiation at hand. "I think that's an excellent idea, Girud. At least it would give us an opportunity to surprise them."

Krysta turns to the place pointed out by Sturmguard. She turns to the others, saying, "You don't have to ask who will stand by you, as we are a team. I will follow as well as lead. Yes, we have a night to rest and catch up. I suggest we each do what we must, as it has been a long time since we have been here, and much to do. In the morning, we will meet again, here, to go over our plans and course of actions."

She then turns to Adelia and Mordrock. "Adelia, it seems as though your powers will be needed and Yuri could use the information. Tell him all you know, and be sure to keep an eye out for Mordrock. I have some business to attend to for now. I will be at the camp of the Knights."

Mordrock starts to object, but simply watches his woman walk away. Besides, he still has one more woman to lure into his control.... He looks over at the halfling, standing next to the half giant. He puffs out his chest, trying to look bigger, but not having much success in that. Besides, he is bigger, but not by much.

When Adelia talks to Yuri, he becomes bored quite easily, usually breaking their concentration by playing with his knives and such. More than once, her glare at him stops him, yet not for too long. Eventually, he gets up, and heads to find some better weapons. His were not very good, as he continuously watched arrows bounce off walls and such. Hopefully he can find something here that would help him out. (Looking for any magical weapons to replace his MW weapons. He currently has MW - Studded Leather, Shortbow, 2 daggers, Short Sword) he will also look for MW Thieves tools, boots to help him out, gloves, etc.,....and possibly a handyhaversack.

Adelia relays as much information to Yuri as she can, warning him that what she sees is the army outside, yet she can only see them, and not hear them. She describes what she sees in detail, along with telling him that he must guard her while she spies on the outside threat.

KMAN - She will look for transferring the ability to anyone touching the presumed leader. That way, she can spy him as he/she/it possibly goes into its tent or abode outside. That would gain some possible knowledge on any things that might come their way....

When she is done, she will simply take note of her items, and stock up on some various things that may come in handy later on. Possibly some better armour, as hers is only simple Breastplate. She will then go to the clerics, and aid in any way she can, if there is enough time. She will spend as much time, if not all the way until night-time on spying on the enemy outside, seeing if there is any trick that they are readying for the seige that is evidently on the way to the gates.
