{Ok. Girud and Galdren going with Yuri. Krysta, Garor, Alton, Adelia and Mordorck remaing atop the ramparts to watch...what a bunch of voyuers. }

Flanked by the Samurai and Half-Giant, Yuri scales the wall and slowly crosses the field between the Kuo-Toan army. Each of the trio is weaponless, not wanting to incite the rage of this peculiar seige army and each walks slowly as to not startle them.
Though it is but a hundred yards or less, it seems to take an eternity. You pass seige crab after seige crab and row after row of sea devils - their wicked hands wrapped around gleaming tridents.
You can't help but feeling you're walking to your doom...
When you near the heart of this encampment, where the Chief's tent is, you can't help but twinge your nose at the smell. Like low tide on the shores, the smell of fish and rotting sea plants is overwhelming. It is probably due to the tents of this army, a sickly green weave of dried kelp and plants.
The Chief himself, much taller than those around him, stands with his arms folded before his tent. He is flanked by at least a dozen well armed and armored warriors, each licking their lips at the chance to taste your flesh. Nearby, four pikes are jabbed into the ground with the headless bodies of humans stuck upon them...the previous messengers sent by Sturmguard.
You manage to swallow the lump in your throat. Speaking in their tongue, Yuri's words sound like bubbling water.
The Chief remains stoic, a proud warrior of a proud race. He speaks, remaining in his native tongue as his eyes dance between Girud and Galdren.
"This 'King' Sturmguard is a liar!" His eyes flare with anger. "One day, nearly half a decade ago, our true king was slain by assassins!"
The Chief moves swiftly to the tent behind him, nearly ripping the kelp-door off as he reveals the interior. Inside, cradled in a strange bronze setting, is another of the crystal shards! It is charred black, though no worse for the wear, and appears to be whole.
However, jutting from the side of the crystal and embedded into it, is a smashed crown. Once jeweled and lovely, this crown is beyond repair and will most likely forever be a part of the shard.
"This come from sky, shot from a catapault and on fire, right at our leader! He crushed instantly!"
To emphasize, the Chief points at the smashed crown.
"Clearly an act of war! After year of mourning for leader, we leave the sea and seek revenge!"
"We track down people responsible for flaming-rock-catapault to here! Refugees tell us they leave city after destroying it. We hear names like Caelith, Delomme, Hero, Garor, Newt..."[/i]
The Chief lets the curtain fall and turns to face you, his form looming over you in fury.
"We will not leave until the assassins are turned over!"

"If I may, I wish to ask of your audience to ask for peace in these dire times."
"From what King Sturmguard informs me, you believe that someone from our city has assassinated your leader. The King does not believe there is an assassin within their ranks, nor did he wish for his death. If there is indeed a murderer in our midsts, I assure you, we will bring this person to justice. I beg you, we do not wish war with your people. We want peace."
"If you can identify the murderer, and we bring the individual to you, will you cease the seige on our people?"
