{Alright, so it looks like, after much debate, that you guys are going to do the following;

- Return to the Chief
- Issue a challenge to their champion (Garor will be combatant?)
- If they accept and you win, they leave immediately
- If they accept and win, they get remainder of 'murderers' from Cannon's Foot (Delomme and Garor)
- If they refuse challenge, all return to Ravenshead and await siege...

Sound right? If so, let's get this thing rolling again. Otherwise let me know if you guys have problems with this. }

Exhausted of ideas to save the city, a bit of debate brings up a viable option. Let the one of the 'murderers' challenge their champion to a single duel, winner walks away with what they want. For Ravenshead, it would mean the end of this seige and a partial return to a normal life...as normal as one can be in a war-torn land that is. For the Kuo-Toan army, it means the city releases those is feels are responsible for their king's death...though you know in truth it was accident.

Sighing, Yuri returns to the encampment, past the hundreds of eyes that watch his every step - awaiting the command to turn this castle to rubble. He crosses the wheat fields to the hilltop and stops before the kelp-tent of the chieftain. There, sitting atop a makeshift chair crafted of seashells, ocean fauna and various flotsam, is the cheiftain...as large as ever.



"I see no murderers in tow with you..."

The vampire swallows the lump in his throat and speaks the offer...a challenge of a murderer versus their champion. The Cheiftain's face goes grim.



"We did not come here to gamble and leave empty-handed. We came here for revenge...."

Yuri prepares for a quick escape, fearing retribution from the cheiftain. He is stopped by the next words of the Kuo-Toan.

"However, you know we came here for them and their death will sate our bloodlust."

"If they want to fight for their lives I will honor that and offer them battle with me. If they win, I will spare their lives for one year. If my people wish their lives after this, I cannot promise otherwise."

"If I win...they will be dead and we march back to the sea..."

The Cheiftain stands to his full height. Not stooping over, he is well over six feet tall and rippled with muscles...

...it's pretty clear he is the best warrior among them.

He awaits words on his counter-offer.



"It is this...or I will not stop until this 'King Sturmguard' is dead."

Yuri looks at the Chief and nods.

This will work indeed. I will have Garor meet you in combat.[/color]

With this, he goes back to the city. His gaze meets Garor.

They accept your challenge. You will face the Chief in combat one on one. If you lose, they will take you and Delomme. If you win, they will wait one year to come back for you depending on their new Chief.

Are you ready?

He awaits his reply.

{The only thing to do is make sure he's well equipped to handle the situation. CRAP... now I really wish that we had that ring from Hell, it gave extra HP and such as I recall. I can't remember, was it ever decided what happened to the party gear that Callian was carrying?}

Ring of Density: This unique item, when worn, grants the wearer a +8 deflections bouns, as though wearing full plate armor. It also increases the wearer's hit points by 50%. (I.E. - 50 hp becomes 75) These excess hit points are considered temporary and are lost the instant the ring is removed or the wearer is unconscious. It also removes the wearer's ability to swim, jump or climb as their body becomes as dense as a rock. }

I vote we keep the ring. I don't think the party should be penalized for people dropping out of the campaign. But then again, it's up to KMAN.

Krysta is solemn, not knowing what to do. She usully had a plan, but with the recent events, losing 5 years of her life, the world now on the verge of being wiped out by the Master, and now another threat now seemingly at their doorstep to try and wipe them out as well, things were not looking well. She stays quiet, thinking.....

Mordrock can sense that something is not going well. He tugs at Krysta's tunic, only to be ignored. Looking down at his necklace, he rubs the pearl that seems to be alive with it's own fiery nature. He wished he was larger, was as able as the others, yet knows that he can't stand up to even the weakest of these warriors he has come to know. He can only wait and watch.... following Krysta into battle, should she take that path.


Adelia knows that this battle will be tough. The leader of the enemy force is large, and well capable of fending for himself. She hopes Garor can somehow find the power to come out of this fight alive, for it would aid in more ways than one.

Ok, this sounds like a good solution to our problem. Unless Garor is defeated, but I doubt that's going to happen, right?
