Krysta remains steady, her hand hovering over her blade should the advisors try anything...[Readied]
Garor, now faced by the Chief, unleashes his maul against the maurading Kuo-Toan. [Attack Roll = 35/40...(I don't think I've seen attack rolls this high yet) *sick*] The maul slams into the Chieftain, sending him flying around as though he were made of light cloth. [Damage Rolls = 30/33 (20/23=43)] The Chieftain is clearly not made of cloth as the cracks of the maul send blood flying to the dirt.
Yuri remains passive, cold eyes still calculating the advisors every move....[Readied]
{Hey, they're actually going to try something now...} The advisors, congregating amongst themselves, begin to actually weave and move as though casting a spell. Just as they bring their hands together in preparation, Krysta is gone, through the Earth and before all of the advisors, her blades flaming...
[Attack Rolls = 28/14, 26/23] {I'll assume one attack on each of the three} The first attack lands, striking right across the first advisors' chest. [Damage Roll = 21] The advisor crumples, his body wracked with pain. The second blow goes for the second advisor, tearing across his thighs. [Damage Roll = 8] He too, is wounded, but not nearly as great as the first. The third advisor is also struck. [Damage Roll = 3] He is merely marked by the blade....
Yuri is next to leap into action, working his wand in response to their attempts at magic. [Grease Affects 10 ft. sq area. {We'll say Ad. 1&2 for ease}] [Ref Saves = Both Successs] Depsite the greased ground beneath them, both advisors stay on their feet while trying to cast the spells...
{Now here's where it gets tricky. Krysta is threatening all of them, but they have a chance to cast on the defensive. Also, they have taken damage, so there will be alot of Concentration checks going on here. I'm going to just sum up what happens.}
Through clever placement, Krysta manages to keep nearly all the Kuo-Toan advisors in check, save for one. As all three attempt to complete their spells, Krysta manages to strike Advisor 1 hard, causing him to lose focus and fail the spell. The third advisor fails to even cast his spell, though he managed to avoid her blade. The second advisor though, manages to both avoid her opportunistic attacks and get his spell off...[Mass Cure Light Wounds Centered on the Chief. Roll = 20]
Adelia remains invisible and silent, waiting until she needs to heal to take an action. [No Action]
The Chieftain, now invigorated by the healing of his advisors, brings his club about on Garor. [Attack Rolls = Nat 1, DEX Success/28/Nat. 1, DEX Success] Clumsy as the first and third strikes are, the second is right on target. [Damage Roll = 22 (Remember, take half)] He howls with delight, ignorant of what takes place around him.
Girud, in response to the mages, Vein-Rides to Krysta's side and brings his blade down. [Attack Roll = Nat. 1, DEX Success] He loses his balance upon emerging though, but manages to hold his blade tightly.
Galdren follows suit, also attacking the foolish advisors. [Attack Roll = 22, Damage Roll = 14, Advisor 3] The Kuo-Toan howls in pain, cursing in his native tongue...
As he moves, you all notice, clear as the midday sun, a mark is emblazoned across the chests of these three advisors. It is hard to miss;
The battle has just gotten more interesting...
