Krysta turns to Garor, knowing he could relay the story of Cannon's Foot better than she.....
- And since Garor does not return until tomorrow or later, it is really up to me.

All (But Romar) -
The Chieftain listens intently to all around him, gleaning more from this information than the past lies fed into his ears. He wipes the sweat from this forehead and takes a seat on a nearby stump, listening to all. He listens most closely to Garor as he relays what happened to his King.
The attack on Cannon's foot. The desperate plan of Delomme to survive the attack and strike a blow at some of 'The Masters' best troops by igniting the powder stores. The blast that shook the world...Garor relays it all in excruciating detail. Most of all, he explains that the Elves of Astoril are the ones mainly responsible for it was their summoned creature that stole the gem to the Earth, far below Cannon's Foot.
How was anyone to control what the blast did to the gem?
He listens to Krysta speak of simply turning your back...of ignoring the fact that a war rages on your doorstep. He listens to the plain fact that once 'The Master' has crushed all on the land, he will move to the sea and claim it next...and the Kuo-Toans will be without allies.
The Chief hears all of this and nods. He is calm now, more like a leader than a raging warrior bent on revenge. He looks about to his watery soldiers surrounding the glade, knowing full well they hinge on his every word.
But he doesn't speak a single one.
He simply stands and extends a clawed hand for a firm shake - a sign he accepts and agrees to join forces.
[Listen Checks, All Successes] From deep within the Kuo-Toan camps, you hear a cry ring out from the walls of Ravenshead. Though you can't make out the exact words, you do see figures along the walls shout and point over the Northern Horizon...beyond where you stand.
Someone has spotted an attack!
{Essentially, from further North of where you are, an enemy approaches.}

Romar -
King Sturmguard nods, keeping his eyes trained on you.
"I have known you much longer than a day Romar...that is why I ask..."
The King says nothing more, leaving you to our weapons selection as he returns to the castle steps.
As you select your weapon from the table, feeling its unfamiliar hilt and grip, you notice that more and more people have begun to take notice in what is occuring here. A small crowd gathers, creating a circle that is sure to not interfere with the fight, yet allow a good view of what is to happen.
Whispers begin to float on the air;
"Isn't that Romar?"
"What's going on?"
"The 'Faceless Knight'! What's happening?"
It's pretty clear the confusion has gripped the crowd. They remain pretty passive, not raising any voices or alarms, but growing in number as the minutes pass.
Once you've selected your weapons, the 'Faceless Kinght' approaches the table and takes the remaining blade and shield, gripping both firmly. He too returns to the opposing side of the circle and stands rigid.
King Sturmguard, in a voice somehow sorrowful of what is about to happen, addresses those present.
"This challenge, as initiated by Romar Belamor, will be without end until death and without mercy. Use only what you have provided..."
A clear indication that magic is not tolerated.
Sturmguard lowers his head and steps back, barely casting towards the ring...as do King Grandil and the other advisors present for they all lamment the apparent necessity of this fight.
The only one with his helm focused on you is the 'Faceless Knight'...
He nods.
"...No mercy..."

[Listen Check, Romar] Above the pounding blood in your ears, you hear a cry come from the ramparts high above your duel.
The guard atop the castle shouts as loud as his lungs will...
"ATTACK!! THERE'S AN ATTACK ON THE NORTH HORIZON!"[/b]
