And with that, she leaves. You find a private alcove nearby and slip into the much cooler desert gear Telena gave you. It is worlds more comfortable than your arms and armor, allowing your body to breathe deeply and replenish itself. Satisfied that you'll cool down soon enough, you make your way out to the courtyard...to the 'Life-Giving Lake'.
There, just as you suspected, is a small lake centered in the ziggurat grounds. It is a little over thirty feet wide and just as long, with no indication of how deep it is. The lake is surrounded by tall trees that provide ample shade from the midday sun. Just beneath the surface, you can make out the shapes of fish darting here and there.
You're not the only one in this seemingly secluded glade, a few other people mill about here and there. A pair of lovers rest under a tree opposite the lake and discuss something in private. A young boy splashes just a few dozen feet down the shore from you and a pair of older maidens fill water canteens before exiting the Ziggurat grounds.
This truly is a lake of life...so full of form and color.
Finding a comfortable spot, you let the cool air of this place sink in and push away the sweat from your journeys. It is not long before you hear the heavy footsteps of the Half-Giant Telena approaching; apparently her business was not to take long at all.
She find a spot of ground next to you and takes a seat, leaning against one of the many trees here.
"Beautiful isn't it?"

Garor arrives mostly unharmed, thanks largely in part to the clerics of Ravenshead. You have yet to pick a door and the undead Ogres at the hole behind you are only getting closer to ripping the stone out...
