Telena looks a bit taken back by the questions, but answers them politely anyway.
"It is with the entire cities' safety in mind that the council chose this action Romar. We will go as one and the young will endure the protection of the old. There will be two-thousand of us in number and the young children and old will be allowed mounts and sand-wagons while the young and hardy will walk along-side."
"The council estimates that it should take no more time than a single traveler through the wastes."
She stands, ready to see herself off to a good night's rest as well.
"Worry not Romar. The cart we will fashion shall be heavily guarded by the best the Gathered Nations have to offer, myself included and will leave no one behind."
"Get some rest."
And just like that, she leaves you to the night.

Mordrock sneaks up the stairs and takes cover behind the forms of the giant and the samurai.
Krysta follows as well, coming up and taking a shot at the horrid beast on the ceiling. [Attack Roll = 24] The arrow flies straight and true. [Damage Roll = 12] The beast howls in pain as the arrow blasts into it.
Galdren removes his blade and holds fast, awaiting the creatures approach. [Readied Action]
Alton moves up and takes a shot. [Attack Roll = 21] The arrow flies wide and strikes the stone floor beyond the creature.
The hound advances. It moves to within 15ft of the largest foe, the Half-Giant and lashes out with its tentacles. [Attack Roll = 27] A tentacle slaps across Girud's chest. [Damage Roll = 8, Posion Fort. Save = Fail (DC 23, Base roll = 5)] The tentacles leaves a sting, but unnaturally so...like your blood screams! [5 temp DEX damage]
Galdren moves in, now that the creature is close. [Readied Action, AoO Upon Advance = 39, Damage Roll = 7] The beast slaps a tentacle across Galdren's face, leaving the stinging poison in his veins. [Fort Save = Fail (Base 9 Vs 23 DC)] The poison almost instantly begins to work through the blood. [3 DEX Damage] Galdren, unflinching, presses the attack. [Attack Roll = Nat 20, Crit Confirm = Success, Damage Roll = 28] In an expert slice, the Samurai leaves a inch-wide gash across the great cat's face.
Girud takes advantage of the creatures close position. [AoO Attack = 39] The hound notices his approach and lashes another tentacle across his chest. [Damage = 6] He lays into the creature. [Attack Roll = 24, Damage Roll = 25] The creature screams in rage.
Garor, Yuri and Adelia move into the room to help in the battle...
