{Sorry I didn't get to it last night folks, got caught up in a recently delivered PS2 Game.}
Romar -
Duke Gramble lets out a rattling laugh, one beftting of shriveled lungs.
"Ha! The bitch kills herself and you call her brave! By the gods, even my shriveled eyes have more complete and more real sight than your youthful ignorance."
"Ha...ha!!"
The creature contines its horrid mockery as you step into the dusty dunes beyond the city walls. As the day wears on, so the Duke wears on your patience.
"Tell me more of your deeds. Of this 'Faceless Knight'...a soul so pure that you utterly destroyed out of spite?"
Whether you ignore it or not, the creature that was the Duke continues to press and to prove himself right...he would make this trip a hell.
As the desert sun rises high in the sky, you begin to feel it's effects. [Survival Check @ +11]
[dice=20]
Today will be brutal. Temperatures will reach severe heat, possibly even higher and you're pretty sure that there will be a dust storm or two...
The first leg of the journey is not turning out so well...
{Romar; the desert is a brutal place. Basically, every ten minutes you're in it unprotected, you'll need to make a Fort Save DC 15+1 for every previous check to not take 1d4 points of non-lethal damage. The temperature will stay at severe heat for 4 hours (read 24 checks) during the midday, dropping to hot on either side for 2 hours each. As long as you wear armor or heavy clothing, you get a -4 to that check.
Also, there will be the issue of dehydration--though I assume you might have spells to over come that. If not, let me know and I'll put up the dehydration rules.}
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yuri -
Backing away from this monstrosity, you take a moment to raise more defenses. As you leave, the golem takes a feeble swing at you. [AoO @ +11]
[dice=20]
[Holy Cow! Confirm Roll @ +11]
[dice=20]
[Result = Critical (I Believe your AC is 28) ] With a resounding thud, the golem hammers your chest. The fist leaves a good-sized mark... [Damage Roll = 32] With a groan, it bemoans you leaving it's presence as you raise your defenses.
{I believe you need a Concentration check to manifest that power. I'll let you roll that with appropiate mods}
Backing away from the Golem proves to be helpful. In it's slowed state it's hard pressed to keep up...
[Inititative: Yuri, Adelia, The Flesh Golem]

All Others -
Leaving this flacid army to its own guiles--for provoking it seems to be the only drawback--you head inside the fortress.
{Sorry, not much for you all to do. You'll arrive at the upper end of the left hallway at the end of next round.}[rand=698477335798501232838472103253246303925484758647672772790216433488]
