Romar -
The bird effortlessly flaps its wings, staying aloft on the rises of air. It squeals down.
"Hidden City? North I will go."
"Stay away from the light...if you can. Men and power should not mix..."
The bird then flaps a few more times and turns, arcing its huge body Northward. Within seconds it is barely a thin, waving line on the horizon.
Duke Gramble shakes his head.
"Well...that was about pointless." His cold eyes settle on you. "What's this Hidden City business? I thought you were dragging me to your home to grieve or some such nonsense."
You sigh and look to the Northwest. Indeed, your home lies that direction...but many, many miles to go. Walking is going to take forever...of that you can be certain.
{Just wanted to see if you had a faster mode of travel or not. If not, we can keep going.}

All Others -
King Sturmguards sighs and rubs his temples. This game of power plays, theft and constantly struggling for survival has begun to wear on him. He raises his head and looks to you all.
"Our crystals? The ones Romar helped to steal did this...and a weapon of the Elves?"
"Come Krysta, how do you know of such things?"
Before you can even answer, there is another blast of light that falls from the heavens and strikes the horizon where the fortress once stood. Based on your witness of the first blast, you know that little of the fortress must be remaining. The devastation was so complete with the initial blow that there should be nothing but a crater where it was.
You also wonder about the shards...
When the public panic finally calms after the third blast, Sturmguard looks to you again.
"The Master is defeated....why does the weapon continue to fire?"
{FYI: Something will happen tonight, I'm not trying to drag this out. Let me know if you want to do anything for the remainder of the day, otherwise, let's begin the night's events. It is dusk now.}
