Romar -
The paladin regards you with a keen eye. An eye that has staunchly sworn its life to protecting this council from evil and its infinite forms. He levels his visor and peers from behind it with a scrutinous gaze.
However, all of that melts when you state your name...
"Romar? Romar Belamor?" The paladin looses a hearty belly-laugh. "I do not think there is a man among my guard that would stand in the path of the saviour of the Hidden City."
He courtly steps aside and raps on the door with his gauntlet. The doors are pulled open from within, revealing a wide marble hallway that heads straight, to the left and to the right. You remember this hallway....for it leads to where you uncovered the traitor Daniel so long ago. The paladin bows low.
"Welcome back Romar. The council is ahead, already convened on matters of unimportance as compared to the return of the city's saviour..."
Your path is unimpeded.

All Others -
Knowing that above this grating rests a city full of well-trained and heavily armed soldiers...perhaps a more tactful method of entry is needed. Using his powers of the night once more, Yuri turns into a billowing cloud of mist...but not before seeking a little protection for himself.
He then slips up through the grating to the barracks above and slowly begins to move to the West--behind an Elven soldier that will hopefully be blissfully unaware of his presence. [I'll give the remaining soldiers a spot check @ +2 vs. DC 18 since they are busy talking or otherwise engaged to notice a puff of air from the sewers]

It seems to work. None of the soldiers nearby raise any alarm...or even glance in the direction of the silent puff of air slipping behind one of the soldiers.
The rest of you below the grating watch as Yuri moves away, and ready yourselves to spring into action...either to run for the Amber Tower...or to help a friend before he's beaten to death by Elves.
{Just pause here to see what Yuri will do. The rest of you have any buffing to do?}
