After discussing the door, and giving advice to others what they should do, you cannot gather the courage to do so yourself. The only thing left is to go towards the next passage.
You walk for a little, making two turns untill you reach a door. It is a smaller version of the gate you seen before, only without the runes and the strange key hole.
The door opens, and you walk into a large room.
At the center, there is a large chasm. It stretches far beyond the walls and you connot see the ending. Looking at it that way, it doesnt looks like a chasm, but a huge tunnel. But, what could make it? You hear strange whispers, calling your names from down below...
There is a stone bridge crossing the hole in the ground. It is made of dark grey stone and all kinds of decorations are crafted on it. It seems stable enough to pass. At the other side the passage continues, but you cant see that far in the dark.
This is too easy... You think to yourself.
What will you do now?

"They know we are here!" Muradin says suprized after their names comes out of the hole "But how is that possible? we never met anyone here."
"Anyway, I sense deception in this place.. Lets check the bridge before we cross it."

Before they went to the next direction, Abbar gave the results of his deciphering to the rest of the group, obviously proud of his findings. "Master of words... There must be some kind of password to enter this I believe. And "end is nigh" might refer to the exit from this place. We'll have to keep our ears open for possible passwords..."
To Fangor's proposal to knock, he simply said: "If we have already decided not to call for the being on the other side, then why would knocking be a better idea?"
The group decides to go the other way.
When they near the bridge and Muradin speaks up, Abbar agrees with him and moves out to inspect the bridge for traps or other hidden dangers.

{Good enough for me! Lets get your ass kicked} Abbar moves closer to the bridge. Before he can even kneel to get a closer look, a skeletal hand grabs his leg! He jumps away, as 5 more skeletons jump on your side of the bridge and 3 others on the other. Those aren't any regulars skeletons you've seen before. Thier bones are smooth, and reflect the surrounding with a blue shade. A ball of lightning dances around in between their ribs, making a constant Buzz. The 5 infront of you hold different weapons, made of a glass-like material. The 3 in the back, on the other side of the bridge, are holding bows, loaded with arrows of the same substance. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- {Init: A2, Fangor, Vemu, S1, S3, Kauyon, A1, S5, S4, A3, Artemis, FlashJeck, Lekor, A2} {Did you miss combat much? } {As always... When the skeletal hand catches abbar - "Watch out!" Muradin shouts. "Time to kill the dead!" He shouts again after all of them come out and draws his greataxe. He will try attacking S1.

Adelia watches as the skeltal hand reaches out and then the appearance of the other skeltons.
Perhaps this is going to be a little better than I thought.
She grabs her medallion, and chants arcane words of rebuking. Holding the medallion up towards the skeletons, she calls forth the power to command these skeletons.
Rebuke Dead for skeletons. If she is successful, then she will take a move action to put her closer to the ones that are now in awe. If she is unsuccessful, then she moves to her left, against the wall, to set up a charge on the next round.
If successful, "Forget about the ones that are now in my control! Get the others!"

{back, folks, some HORRIBLE homework and schooling the last few days - didn't excactly leave me in the mood/capability to post anything at all}
As silent as ever lately, Ahrd takes a step away from the group, and focuses his mind for the task at hand.
{Concentration check to achieve Psionic Focus - Cel told me by MSN it succeded}
"I'll take out the archers!"
He points his finger at one of the skeletons, and it is suddenly surrounded with a cold glow - an ice-white ray immediately shoots out of it and arcs towards one of the skeletons.
{Ahrd takes a 5-foot step to the "right", manifests Energy Ray, enchances it with 5 power points, uses the Maximise Power feat, effectively dealing 35 points of Cold damage to skeleton A3}

A bit surprised by the sudden company while he was concentrating on the surroundings, Abbar makes his attack more as a reflex then anything else. Unarmed at the moment, he moves in on the skeleton just in front of him and tries to push him off, preferably into the depth. Immediately after this he takes a leap back and takes his two-bladed sword from his back.
In game terms: bull rush (str +1) on S4 diagonally in the direction of the chasm were it is the closest (I don't know if a 5ft push is enough as half of that grid space is still land, but I'll not try to push further), then a 5-foot step back to be in the place were I initiated, and draw my sword. (Standard action, free action, move action if I'm not mistaken)
