7 - 028: An Army of the Dark

"I do remember you from the graveyard...your band cause us much trouble that day."

"However, if you say we are in danger...what will you have us do? We believe that Xio is no longer himself, though your dragon story is a bit hard to believe, but we have been instructed to wait here while Xio went deep into this strange volcano."

"We wish our old master back..."

Drop'Gar and Elxethan - Elxethan picks up Satara, slinging her over his shoulder. He bumps into a few barrels as he does so, still not used to having no sight.

Just as Drop'Gar finishes masking the duo with magic, the movers begin to shake their paralysis, moaning and bumping around, looking for something. A few of them call out to Satara, looking for direction and an indication of what happened.

You manage to make it out into the street unnoticed, pulling Elxethan by his robes, wondering where to go.

Elxethan mutters quietly to himself. The fact that he's invisible doesn't really impress itself upon him---everything is invisible to him, after all.

"Not a priest...they're all shut down by Arturick. And not her...it'll give her too much say. How, then..."

Of course. It's the only way.

"Drop'gar," he says suddenly. "I can fix them...my eyes...but I'll need some time. Time to rest. Some other inn---oh, we must be cursed."

"Perhaps...the warehouse?"

"I can do it. Just give me a place where I can see him and not be quickly seen, and I can do it.
There is, however, a condition. You have a former member, one who you may or may not have known as Adrian. Reguardless, he left or was expelled from your organization some time ago, and now has no memory of his life with you.
Tell me everything about him."

Elxethan has a decent suggestion. But is the warehouse a safe place to be...... who knows for sure till you try.

Inwardly Drop'Gar is beginning to think that they are indeed cursed with such foul luck. Hopefully their streak would end someday and they can get on with the way things should be. For now, go check out the warehouse.

Before I get much farther I'd like to duck into a dark alley and change into one of the male travellers that we saw leaving the city not too long ago.
