Londo and Graak - Moving towards the general store in this decrepit town, you begin to wonder what - exactly - the purpose of this town originally was. The brilliant colors, the many faded images of flags and nations...it seems as though this place was once a grand idea and now is little more than a painful memory.
The water-damaged door dings as you open it. The interior of the general store is a sad little place, musty and smelling very much of rot and stale air. Sacks of grain and various barrels, bottles and boxes half-line shelves all over the floor.
A Dwarf, aged even for his race, shuffles out from behind a counter dressed in the rags of a poor man.
"May I help you?"
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Elxethan - You feel Satara stiffen under your choking grasp. She gasps a bit and you feel, somewhere in the back of your head, that if she were not restrained, this little struggle would go a lot differently.
She speaks softly, not making an attempt to scream of alert anyone.
"...I cannot...the damage is done and I regret nothing assassin..."
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Drop'Gar - Taking further inventory of your situation, you realize just how hopeless this is. The shackles appear to capable of holding not only your frail form to the wall - but even that of an ox if necessary. They are strongly welded, recently made, and specially designed to hold their victim perfectly still in a painful position.
Your spells are still there, but surely with the metal bridle and the way your are fastened to the wall like a coathook, there would be no way to cast them.
You become aware, above the pounding blood in your ears, of the booted footsteps. Your one open eye focuses on Arturick as casually strolls to the center of the metal prison and looks you over and smiles that same wicked smile.
"Comfortable? I hope so...I'd hate to think of you put out because of your little pathetic attempt at destruction."
You notice, at his feet, a cadre of the horrible zombie-fetuses swarming about like he was their brood-mother.
"You killed a few of them, damaged some equipment...but not much of a setback."
"However, I will give you a chance now to delay your painful....deconstruction and re-assembly into something great."
His eyes flare wildly as he stares you down.
"Will you tell me where she is?"
