At a glance Gilbert doesn't appear to be anything more than an average looking Halfling. However, looking close enough one can see the glean of high intelligence hiding in his brown eyes. He dresses in drab looking clothing, mostly browns that match his hair and eyes, as it helps him to be nondescript.
Background:
Much of gilbert's past is hidden in the shadows that he prefers to frequent. Aside from what is known of him since he arrived at the academy there is no other record of his past. His first real memory is waking up in a dark alley with some foriegn priest muttering healing incantaions over him. He's not really sure how he got to that point, but prefers to keep mostly to himself. Some folks say that he's trying to fit the pieces of his former life back together. Others say that his head doesn't work as well as it used to. No one really knows for sure, but he does what he pleases most of the time, and doesn't care a whit about other peoples opinions. Secretly he hopes to travel somewhere with the Justicars and have it reveal his old life and former home. Until that day he will do whatever he must to get by.
