As you decide amongst yourselves about which supplies should be purchased, Randal Morn summons a scribe. He notes down your list: 5 antiftoxin and 2 scrolls of neutralise poison. Randal Morn dismisses the scribe and turns his attention to you once more. "Eat well tonight. You will dine with me. Then, you may stay here and leave tomorrow if that is your wish"
Not wishing to offend, you dine well. The food is not as sumptuous as you have eaten in the past. It is tasty and well cooked though. You sleep well rising with the sun. Breakfast is provided and Tender scrumps as few loaves and rashers of bacon "for the road".
Studying the map once more, Mal stands before Ewan and Tender and begins the incantation for teleporting (carefully studied area).
[dice=100]
Mal, something feels wrong. The thread of the weave isnt twisting correctly...something doesnt feel right.
Arriving at your destination you look round. You seem underground, in a stone vault of some description. Your heart sinks, this isnt the Dordrien Crypts. Its a crypt - just not the correct one. Which one, your unsure.
Ewan and Tender, your eyes rapidly adjust to the darkness around you. You stand in a large stone vault with a very tall ceiling. Tall enough that even wan on hind legs cannot reach. Eyeing the room, it seems there are many ledges, each containing molded skelatal remains. A single exit is via a tunnel on the northern most most wall. The smell here is musty and dank - this place hasnt been visited in many, many years.
Ewan - Your nose picks up a smell...a terrible stench of the dead, but some how worse.
Mal - your familiar also detects it. It scurries into the folds of your cloak, afraid of what is coming.
Then... Ewan listen [dice=20] + 15
Tender listen [dice=20] + 17
Mal listen [dice=20] + 2
(versus DC30) Ewan passes.
Ewan, you hear the gentle rasp of steel on stone, like something dragging metal. It comes from far off, but it is getting closer...

Everyone else: You wait patiently for Mal to reurn, but he seems a little slower than usual. You figure they're probably just securing the area.

OODM: someone may want to take over Fangor's character while he's busy.[rand=99047446136751067979445748092754791387088815770882467149297109]
