Sorry guys, I had all of these dice rolls here, but my pc reset. Since there were some major roles and cool stuff happening, I kept them the same instead of re-rolling.

Akatas is quick to react and flips towards the living stalagmite and hammers it with her fist [10 damage]. It grunts in pain.

Lashing out its tendrils, two fly towards Akatas, two towards Ewan and two towards Coppertop. Akatas easily dodges them, but in the process is caught by its maw [9 damage]. Two strands easily find purchase on the large Urskan, and they drag his bulk closer to the roper's waiting mouth (10' move forward). The strands also seem to be sucking the very strength from his muscles(2x DC 18 fort saves; both pass), but Ewan easily shakes off the effects. It tries to drag him to the floor, but Ewan casually throws off its attempts. Finally, the two strands aimed at Coppertop hit home and he too feels its strength sapping effects (2 x DC 18 fort saves; 1 pass, 9 STR dmg). You feel all of your strength practicaly drain away. It tries to drag you to the floor but with some feat of what remaining strength you have left, you resist its attemps and you remain upright. It does however drag you clser to its waiting maw.

Coppertop, you call out from memory the knolwedge you have on this creature. You have heard many tails about these things as the infest the mines and caves of the sons of Moradin. You are unable to do little else though.

This however spurs your comrades to action.

Also guys, i'm out for the next week, so no more posts here. If its purely combat related, then i might be able to do an update.

Whatever this thing was, the others seemed to be talking it up as something special, and those coils it had there were doing a crushing good job of crushing the life out of Ewan and Coppertop.

Nipping into the shadows, Tender throws his hood up and tries his best to falter his movement in such a way as to trick the creature, should it be watching, him that he has not moved away at all, when really, he was heading as quickly along the west wall as possible.

Hide in Plain Sight, [dice=20]+24=(43), to move double speed along the wall, and get behind the Roper.

If it sees me, maybe it will attack, I'll deal with that if it happens. Either way, I'll soon be flanking it it the others keep it engaged to the front.

{-9 Str, sumbitch.... now at Str 2 with -4 to everything strength related. When I saw that -9 I thought I died.... if he doesn't let go (which he wouldn't), I will... even on double 1s}

Flailing desperately with his heavy mace he smashes feebly at the strands holding him.

Ahem, after a shocked phone call from spiral, i have checked the DMG. P.289, the Glossary States: Strength 0 means that the character cannot move at all. He lies helpless on the ground.

In fact, only a constitution of zero kills you. You are safe....for now

Lusione, now ready to react to the situation, see her master get hit, as well as Ewan and Coppertop, which she hate the vision. Her expression change as she start singing with a different voice, powerful and charming. The very sound of her voice seems to burn the muscles of her companion, propulsion them in a better and more confortable fighting state.

Akatas, insulted being hit by a freaking tree, throw her fist at the creature furiously.
Her fist, enhanced by the song of Lusione, cut the air with such speed that it create a small sound, followed by her voice, yelling a loud ''Yah'' at each hit.

Was this creature dense? Was it dragging a fully armored Urskan warrior towards itself?

This whole event was confusing, but not regretable. Ewan woud rip this creature in twain for its stupidity.

But first, he had to save his friend who was not blessed with his strength, for his faith and magic would be needed soon enough.

[Sundering the strands that are attached to Coppertop. If I get them with my claws, I'll try to bite the Roper, which sounds hella whack, otherwise all three will be to free the cleric.]

{If Ewan breaks Coppertop loose, his turn is obviously not spent sundering himself free. He would back the hell up and cast Searing Light. Ranged touch attack at +8, 5d8 damage}

{EDIT: forgot about the SR 30. Not going to waste that spell, since I need a nat 20 to succeed.}
