Coppertop, drained from his tangle with the roper casts Lesser restoration[/i] gaining back 1 strength point. He also removes all no-essential items distributing them among the others (or just Ewan with that massive strength?). Mal then casts Greater mage armour[/i] on Coppertop to boost his defenses once relieved of his now too heavy armour.

Once good to go, Lusione pockets the radiant coin and it is again dark.

Your senses return and you pear into the darkness made light. All around is still and silent.

[Those without Darkvision]
You can see nothing, not even your hand infront of your face. Yow will need something otherwise you will be traversing the place blind.

Tender, you disappear off sneaking ahead.
Hide [dice=20] + 24 = 41
Move silently [dice=20] + 22 = 28

You melt silently into the shadows and trot off ahead.

[Ewan and Slythre] The smell of brimstone and sulphur seems to disappear after Tender has gone.

You creep silently down the tunnel, keeping to the sides. It continues traveling downwards slightly until you find an abrupt end to the tunnel. A perfectly flat wall of stone is stoppering the tunnel. However, a rectangular doorway has been cut into the wall. This clearly looks like the entrance to the drow tunnels and the underdark. [Tender listen check: 26; pass]. You hear the faint sound of pacing ahead, like someone is walking back and forth. As you lean forward to listen better, you hear a faint scuttling emanating from the cavern ahead. Like something with many legs moving across the room. {For the record I'm still carrying the nimbus of light spell, so I'm lit up and unwilling to let it go without good reason. Its a magical attack that I can use; and I've wasted enough spells already.}

Tender can pad away and be in the dark, but wherever coppertop is, its still lit.

Coppertop stands quietly awaiting the return of their scout. Talking amongst themselves could be dangerous because they couldn't hear him call out for help or any other signs of danger.

[Althael]

Akatas will partially surround Coppertop with one of her wings, intend on blocking the light to go further into the unknown paths. Sure, the things here might be able to see in the dark as well as her, maybe more, but a spot of light is still a spot of light, it can't be missed in total darkness, while some figure can be missed.
Though, she'll leave the liberty to Coppertop to look around himself, as long as it doesn't let too much light go in the wrong direction.

She'll then extend her second wing, touching Lusione in the back. As long as her wing touch her, every thing's OK and she should not worry of being blind.

Lusione, upon feeling the wing of her master, close her eyes and concentrate on the sound around her. The total absence of noise was kinda freaky, especially in this place, but she shall have no fear, not unless she is alone. Freaky, but helpful to hear anything. Tender might not be heard, but how can we know, if there's anything else, that it'll be as sneaky as the rogue? Let's hope not..

Ewan waits for Tender to return with the news of what lies ahead. His paws strum on his newly thickened sack, thinking idly of drinks and wondered why Tender smells so strange. Had he gotten dirty somewhere or was this something else.
