For those making characters, your character would need to be the type who would respond to an advertisement such as this:
Your character will not be a member of the guild, rather, they will be contracted by the guild to perform a service on their behalf. This is rather par for the course in FA, who has only a handful of adventurers who are vested within the guild. Please refer to the following for a the common perception on FA:

Your character need not be evil as any adventurer needing money may be tempted by this offer, but bear in mind should you be creating a character that you intend to play in the long term, it will be difficult to function in the guild without at least some moral flexibility. Most members of FA are neutral or neutral evil.
We will be using the standard K-Man Character Creation rules, which is a 32 point buy. Your character is to be 4th level and should have 5,400 in gear, no more then half on any single item.
PM me about anything unusual (race/class/etc.). Those that have offered to help are appreciated and I can promise you that there will definately be call for it in designing the city, but that will be a seperate thread.
