The characters in Kenelton's Folly have leveled once and that of course has got me thinking about the next 18 times. So, how should I level TurnKey as time goes by?
See the link in my signature to see the character sheet and read the Kenelton's Folly posts to get a feel for the character.

Since you're having a good game as a rogue, then stay as rogue. Just like real life, stick with the job as long as you are having fun.

well, i say you should take 4 rogue, 6 fighter for feats attacks and hp, then 1 sd (i dont think u need more) and the rest rogue

I'd stick with with the theif route for now and see if the story stears you into something else.
I like the character by the way

I voted shadowdancer because I've never seen one played, AND I think the transition to shadowdancer could make for some pretty cool rp'ing.

I'm starting to lean towards shadowdancer or duelist, but ninja (if allowed) is also tempting. The RPing rationale for any of these is that TurnKey is thinking vengence and he knows if he's going to take on a whole guild someday he's going to need to have more in his arsenal than daggers and a lock picks....

Is there a 3.5 version of the ninja? The only one I have is from S&F.

Dude, the coolest ninja ever is from Oriental Adventures. Which, if Wiz will let you play, then do it!!

Alas, I do not have that book. Can you share some details? I see something like the ninja in keeping with the character. At first he just needed to get out of town because someone killed his mentor and he knew he was next. Now he can turn to planning his revenge, but he is a very practical sort of guy - he knows he doesn't have the skills, the mojo, the whatever it is going to take to take down whoever killed his mentor. So, he can begin to acquire those skills now that he's in the relative security of his newfound companions. If we can kill the lizardmen, that is.

The actual class is called 'Ninja Assassin'. They are experts at hiding in shadows, and striking without being seen.
Such class skills you develop are as cool as:
Hide in plain sight (Take a hide check, even while being watched) Leap of the moon (Similar to Monks leap ability) Poison Use (No chance of poisoning) Super Pluses to hide in shadows and move silently etc.
I'll dig up the rest of the info later and let you know more.
They were wicked cool.

Ninja Assassin is one of the coolest prestige classes I have ever seen: insane bonuses on climb, jumb, tumble and a couple of other skill, and I'm talking insane (+20 or 30 I'm not sure), water walking & breathing, and maybe just maybe invisibility.
