I'm planning to start an evil, war based, HIGH powered campaign, so I need to know if anybody is interested. The game will be very high powered, you will start from level 4 and finish it at level 30-40. 40 point buy, ofcourse  . It's for 3-7 players, but I suppose I could make it with two party. And yes, the two partys will always play. If there alot of players (i hope). to all of those who played in that stupid shadowrun adventure i downloaded, dont be afraid. I wrote that campaign, and tested it on my D&D group. T'was fun. |

I could be interested, but, I'll be gone for a while this summer. If you can make a character go in vacation for a max of 2 month, I'll surely be in.

Maybe the type of post you made with shadowrun that affraid people. Maybe that even why we stoped replying?
It's not inviting to join a game when the post have some chance to be, of a couple of sentence, not really described and too simple. It's simply that you didn't let a good impression with the other campaing you runned. But hey, it was a first try..
At least, give a better explanation of your world, history, what you allow in it, etc.

Korone's right, in a sense, flesh out the world. Make it appealing, like an ad for something exciting.
Maybe that would snag more people?

No offence, but you'll be hard pressed to reel this fish in. With my current involvement in three campaigns, plus running the Shorts, I'm swamped. Best of luck to everyone else though.

At least, give a better explanation of your world, history, what you allow in it, etc. alright. there's that huge world map with 200 towns, raods, and mountains who still need names. the game in based on war between elves, good men and evil men, orcs and friends (ogres, giants, and so on) you're on the evil side. the history as the people (and character [for now]) know it: a few centuries ago, a man arrived from the east. within minutes he took over a small village. a few days later he moved on to the next town. it was said that he was a powerful wizard and the local authorities were too scared to act. within week he took over two lagre cities. nobody could stop him. most of the soldiers ran in fear, and those who dared to approach were killed instantly. then he moved north, into the orcish lands. after a short battle they surrendered and became his slaves. later that year, orcs, trolls and ogres marched into the human lands. the people had no choice but to get out of their way. the trouble began when the evil armies reached the elven borders. the humans aligned themselves with the elves and dwarves and fought back. they managed to hold the border for 170 years, but now the armies are moving further into the west. there are the rumours ofcourse, but i'm too lazy to write them the real history is alot more comlicated and i cant tell you the history as it has really been because it will ruin the plot. you start as recruits, doing what your commander tell you to do, but that changes as you gain power. then my evil ploting kicks in ok, now what do i allow. the only thing you cant be is a paladin, a goodie, and ahh... undead. about being ogres, giants and that stuff. you CAN be that, but you'll have to think abut how you're gonna get into narrow hallways, walk in dungeons, get into buildings, etc. about mages and other spell caster. yes, i know that an epic mage is powerful... no, i'm not saying you cant be a mage ...but this game was tested on warrior types and it's posible that it will be very easy for an epic mage while being hard to a fighter. hope this helps. EDIT: oh wait, let me guess. not enough description. i would post here 2 pages of background, but it seems pretty difficult to plug my notebook into my pc. |

Sure, But the little post was kinda scary in the shadowrun's game. Anyway, I don't doubt that everything's can be more described in it and more interesting to read. You're saying that we'll have 200 towns to raid?? Now you're talking ;D Laziness isn't good for a Dm, well, nor for the player.. but a lot of things change if the dm is too lazy.. That's the point. You're kidding? Trust me, there will be no problem at all. ;D Awe, you don't have technologie in your country?  Nobody asked for that much really, just put an resume of it. But well, you've giving a good idea of the background. If this game start, at this time you could write these page on here. There's never too much info that we can get on a world. As I said before, I'm interested. Well, "evil" and "high powered" automaticly got my attention. But, I could only join during this summer (even maybe the end). And ahh.. more attention on your ponctuation could be more 'attractive'. Well.. majuscule and "." (duh.. look like a smilies.. I forgot the word for that  ). |

well, it's not about raiding towns. it's alot more then that. you'll see. (if this ever starts)

Do you have this map and a sample of some world history? A few key towns maybe?
Important NPCs to emulate? Important villains and maybe a sample of their history?

Sure.
There's Tharazar, the evil mage that rules the east.
Unfortunatly, I can't tell you anything about him.
There is a powerful Troll named Balagaxx, one of Tharazar's generals. Before the mage arrived from the east he was ruling the north-eastern lands. None were able to defeat him, untill Tharazar. The troll had no other option but to serve the mage. (heh, you will want to emulate that dude)
One of the high captains, Le Findel, is said to be a dangerous fella. Some say that even Balagaxx had trouble defeating him, in a friendy (and very brutal) duel.
Le Findel doesnt go out much, he prefares to live in his fortress and give orders.
Oh, and Krag. You're gonna hate that guy. This orc is one of low ranked captains, doing all the dirty work. Training recruits, that is. Before all tribes were united by Tharazar, he was chief of the Alguth tribe, one of the most barbaric orcish tribes.

The goodies...
Well, there are alot of them, since they're gonna die very often... *cough cough*
The western human army is lead by Mazadir, a powerful paladin (smite evil.. oh yea).
There are many more comanders, but they're not very important.

The only reason I'm not gonna play is cause I'm in three campaigns as it is and barely can keep track.
Because normally, I'm all over evil campaigns like white on rice... just as jevva about our Halloween game. And this game sounds like major good times, btw.
So, I'll send you good karma, but no character, unless you really need an extra man.
