Nope...I'm asking myself the same thing. I hope I don't have to remove his PCs too and remove his campaign. I miss Wizard....

He has had parental issues before and is preparing for his freshman year at a new college. He could simply be over-whelmed. Curious though.

This IS the first week of class at the university where I work. Chances are that he's moving into his dorm or going on some kind of orientation freshman-bonding trip or pledging a frat or something. I have faith that he will pop up in a week or so.

In light of this post, I sent Wiz an email and he responded yesterday. He is extremely busy but in the process of getting settled. He's locating a PC now and should be back shortly.

I bet he got to campus and moved into his dorm but then a bunch of frat guys burned down their own house and took over the dorm so then Wizard and all of his friends got moved into the gymnasium and now they're looking for a place off-campus and they'll be seeking REVENGE.....?

I'm more inclined to think that he got settled and in true D&D nerd fashion, asked for the 'Ineffible Horrors' section of the library. Lo and behold, BYU has one! So he goes down, cracks open a dusty tome and finds the incantation to summon an outer god from the coldest and most foreboding depths of space. Right now he's figuring out to code 'Summon erhlerhlekh' in HTML so he can bring it to the boards. He should return shortly.

Right now he's figuring out to code 'Summon erhlerhlekh' in HTML so he can bring it to the boards. He should return shortly. HA! Well, there isn't a section called "Ineffable Horrors" in the library here, but they get pretty darn close. Apparently the library has gotten a whole bunch of awards. I DID search for a copy of the Necronomicon, but the computer turned it up empty. Writer's imagination, or secret worldwide cover-up? You decide... And...HA! GUESS WHAT?! See, the area I'm living in is a bunch of apartments modeled after dorms. Each 6-person unit has three bedrooms, a small kitchen, and a VERY small sitting room (read: Xbox den!). So my roommate is telling me about his best friend, who has yet to move in. This best friend will be living in the same apartment, but a different bedroom. Anyway, my roommate mentioned that "he plays some weird sort of 'dice-playing' thing or something... Dragons and Devils or something..." Wizard: " D&D?!!!" Roommate (who, by the way, though he doesn't play D&D or Magic, is cool, and will be my partner in the 2-on-2 basketball league here): "Uh, yeah." Turnkey---no frats here, actually. Not allowed. So, to make a long story short, I'm back, but I might miss any of the next few days until Monday. On Monday, I settle down to a normal schedule, so I'll be able to be dependable. Hopefully I can post every day until then, but few know the ways of the Schedule for orientation...

Ahhh - enjoy the beginning of college. There will be time to check in with us losers later. I met people my first week of college that I still see every week:
I met a guy who was pretty cool. Years later I would marry his sister.
I met some people that I ended up playing D&D with. We STILL play D&D now and again 10 years later.
Go! Enjoy! Frollick! Frollick I say!
But don't forget to study.
