I think the good races would indeed prosper, and prosperity means growth, in population and as a result of that a desire for expansion, to provide the people with enough resources etc. Simply put: less evil things crawling around -> more prosperity -> population growth -> expansion. Unless everyone is paranoid that evil might every single second come back again as before, why should there be any such things as paladins? In my opinion a paladin order in an evil-less world would be quite unemployed and unnecessary, no? So if paladins even would still exist they would really lack the sponsoring to proceed activities. The law would remain unaffected mostly I think. It only says what people shouldn't do and what happens if they do it, so why change that when crime decreases? Maybe, however, punishments could become more severe, as crimes are more feared when they DO happen. On the other hand, I think that when there is a lot of crime people tend to make up worse punishments to 'set examples', so when crime would decrease the reason for harsher punishments would also decrease. That said, it could go either way: it depends on the mood of the people and tradition, which I think are up to you to define. Good luck

Well, the remaining paladin would be there do eliminate the rest of evil creature? No race as been completely destroyed.
For the law, I were thinking about something more severe. Their is less crime, so when one happen, it look more horrible and is more choking to the population. The rarity of it would make it more important.
But since, in some millenia, I think that people had enough time to learn what to do or not. So their would be no more punition.

Korone,
I suggest you look up an American Movie called 'Demolition Man'. It details the very same thing you are dealing with... a violence-free world where things have been peaceful for so long, everyone has forgotten what war, disease and evil are like.
There were still authority figures, they just dealt with minor troubles and in fact, when faced with true evil in the form of an old criminal thawed out, they had no idea how to act. Imagine the paladins of your world as firefighters. Saving kittens from trees, putting out fires caused by simple mishaps. Settling land agreements and the like. They are in abundance and alway around...but for lack of a better phrase, not a one of them would know how to fight a demon if it slapped them in the face.
Perhaps your lesser evil races; Goblins and Orcs or whatever, simply adapted and went underground...perhaps evolved slightly and have become smarter, stealithier...better hunters so they could survive.
Sounds like a neat idea...

I like these ideas. Really.
But it would be to rebuild the whole race. Not really for the stats, but relation, how they live, etc.
And at first.. I have to decide where wich ones have been exiled..

Just because there's no war or physical conflict doesn't mean there won't be competition. Man is not, by nature, a very peaceful creature, and his agressive impulses must be channelled somehow. Perhaps intense philosophical debates are the norm, or perhaps economic competition will fill the demand for conflict.

This is what would make this game 'fantastic'. Man that aren't obsessed by evil, war, etc. As someone susgested, the gods could have a control on the 'alignement' of people. So they can only be good.
But I really like these ideas Toptom.
Still, the idea of the campaing is to bring back evil in the world by creating a new era. Like the one that I'm creating.
Each era would be highly different and separated by huge, endless war. One era could have only demons on the surface, an other, a continuous war, celestial living among mortals, etc...

A little update. I changed the beginning of the world to add more 'depth'.

This is getting interesting. Would the PCs be the evil creatures contaminating the world or the good crusaders defending against the threat? Either one could make for an interesting campaign.

Not bad at all. Brush up on your English skills first, though.
