I'll be moving tomorrow - I should be finished with the whole moving deal should by the end of this week, but I won't have DSL at the new place until around the 15th - the only internet access I will have to here will be via the school and the library. So, not gone, but maybe not here as much as I should be.

Looks like things are picking up again, if slowly. Prolly grind to a halt again come Christmas/Hanukkah/Generic Annual Gift Day(s.)

Not too knowledgable about it, but I'm pretty sure it's a jewish holiday taking place in and/or around December, about the saem time as Christmas.

Kauyon is right but its not in december its in Kislev.. A jewish month (if thats how you want to call it) most time it happens in the same time as december (this year the holiday begins in the 9th). Its a happy holiday since someone wanted to kill us all and he failed (kinda like a lot of our holidays ). If you want to know more.. just say

still interested. Paras I think would probably be Persia. It matches the description. I also found something on the internet about it: www.jafi.org.il/education/festivls/purim/purim02.htmlYou know, I'm still thinking of a subject for a history project, and maybe I'll do something with this. Any tips or ideas?

LOL man! I mixed it up!!! Wrong holiday.. I was writting about another one 'Purim' rofl... hope no jew here will kill me I don't remember a lot about the real Hanuka but I know that greece was ruling us and Antiyocus wanted to kill us all.. then we were somehow saved.. but in Beit Hamikdash (our temple of the god) there was a Menora with 8 candles... we needed oil to make them lit and there was only 1 can of oil with very little amount of it... but the miracle was that it lasted 8 days and cause of that we were saved. Don't ask, won't tell.

In case it matters -- the lack-of-DSL-at home period has been extended to [sigh] 14th of January. There's a moderately big Lan-party (gathering of people who link up their computers and play games together with them if you didn't know ) from the 27th to the 30th of December, so I'll probably pop back in then.

I know what a LAN party is, but I've never been to a multi-day one. Lucky.

A lan party is always 2 days, or early morning to noon at the day after. But I've never participated at one cause I hate to bring my computer where it isn't in my house.
